The problem with people rating TV shows on IMDB is they will give a show a 10/10 for the first few seasons. Then when the show tanks in the later seasons, they forget to change their review scores. Game of Thrones is one of those shows that is like that. Its really way further down the list now.

From a technical standpoint, any David Attenborough documentary is far more impressive than the vast majority of fictional TV

4:45 no, i wached both FMA and FMAB and i was so disappointed. How is it top 1 on MAL. Some parts of it were good, made emotions run through me but man top 1!? The loud humor was also a HUGE HUGE turn off.

100% Game of Thrones is a dead IP it was handled so poorly. Overall I rate it 4/10 but it was at a 8.9/10 leading into the last season. I would easily put Batman the Animated Series in my top 3 and I do not watch cartoons. The writing is just that good.

Honestly, I don’t understand all the hype around Arcane. To me, it’s an overrated animated series. I do agree that the animation is among the best. I also agree that the first season is almost excellent in terms of both characters and plot. But I can’t say the same about the second season — this is exactly where major problems I dislike start to show: the characters get twisted, the plot became simplified or even much worse compared to the first season, the motives and reasons behind actions became much more vague and illogical, and the emotional episodes just don’t work for me because of all that. The animation is still great, but in places it even feels overdone or excessive.

Frankly, I think Pantheon deserves way more attention in terms of story coherence and character development than Arcane. Of course, my opinion is subjective, but sometimes I just can’t understand the IMDb ratings in cases like this. (Also, "Human Planet" isn’t really a series, it’s more of a documentary — maybe it should have been placed in a different category?)
