A further example that [reminds me] Bigot business backfire was an extreme famous music group decision backfired here's the story. there was a VP of a famous record group I can't remember I think was RCA. the VP said no one wants to hear that kind of music they want Frank Sinatra Barbra Streisand and Elvis Presley and fire the group 6 months into their contract. the group went on to win approximate 10 platinum albums - THE GROUP NAME - Earth Wind and Fire. The bitter End was all the money they lost the president fired the VP. That was a racist maga type decision which still hurts 🌎🌀🔥

Highest rated, award winning late show that people love(d). Also per CBS costs too much and yet they did not mention the $ earned from affiliates, ads, etc. Even before CBS announced cancelling show...was still highest rated show in it's format. Guess do owe thank you to CBS as Will Not watch any or all programs, shows, award shows that they, Paramount+ or any of their affiliates offer! Maybe we can just turn them off? Didn't they have the lowest ever rating for Oscars? Tired of what they want to us to view instead of offering what people actually want and watch. Stephen was and continues to be funny, intelligent, well versed, thoughtful/thought provoking, authentic, lives with integrity, well read, interesting, interestead, caring, spiritual over all great human being. Colbert getting the boot from CBS is directly an act of suppression and a not so subtle threat against other critics of the current Trump administration. That being said, late time talk shows are a sinking ship because we are slipping away from the monoculture of the past. The only one who has any luck is Jimmy Fallon because he is the living embodiment of a corporate advertisement (to quote Mike Stoklasa, "the only thing he should host is a parasite"). Colbert is still at his core a very funny and insightful comedian. He probably won't find another gig as lucrative as this, but I do believe he would be better suited for something that isn't as creatively limiting and dead in the water as the late show. Or he will take his riches and sail off into the sun-- I wouldn't blame him. As far as historical significance goes; I think Stephen Colbert's Late Show will be remembered for its cancellation more so than its cultural appeal while on air. sMoKe WeEd eVeReDay
