@coffee2993DC Comics did a major crossover some years ago called The Final Night with a similar premise where an alien lifeform sucked the heat of our sun away. It took the evil Hal Jordan sacrificing himself to correct things. OTOH, Cartoon Network did one where Courage flew to the sun and changed the bulb. BTW, the DC scenario gave us less than a week to live.
