As an Indian I'll say I'll live with my parents forever and provide them with all the luxury i can afford
@SÀN-D-MANI don’t know a single person who doesn’t think India is a filthy dump.😂
@KamillGran-ch5sbIndians live with Not only a parents but grandparents, even sometimes cousins also.
@Xhero9519Indians live with parents for love not for affordability.
@Xhero9519Dollar 96 .😡Why comparing America with India? Why are the Indians desperately running away to America and Western countries for a better life?😡In India, Indians dont follow any traffic rules, defecate openly and large portion live in poverty😢😢😢
@gimmmehopeLiving with parents is not for economic need for indians it is an emotional connect
@AinavlogeBut they live even after 30, even after marriage with the guy's family. They be praising they looove their parents. But it's actually just patriachy. The girl is expected to leave her parents behind and then take care of her in laws and husband. It's not beneficial for most women.
@JayashreeKrishnanTell the world American live on debt America has more debt than any other country on the planet 40trilions and increasing everyday because they failing to pay and can't pay 500million interest per day the fake super power is broke and bankrupt since 2017 and heading for economic collapse and food crisis
@hucka101ptano one should dare to mock india even though people like sonam wangchuk stay on indefinite hunger strike.
@TomalKarmakarFamily is Real support
@BoySingh-y9iIn India living with parents is a social mindset we carry . 1)Respect 2)Money Management 3)Kids management.....When you stay together you good and challenging situations.
@journeyofkevinkumar5357Good they are learning from us which will help reduce carbon emisions 😂
@RajaBoraNEDude u under stood every thing wrong. Staying with parents means not depending financial. Indian family is like empire. Kids takeup the reponsibility and continue the leneage. When you are young they took care of you and in old age its where we try to show our love its not responsibility or payback.
@suhaskarthik2387Indian possess a regressive mindset known as the sanskaar.
@Humantypething..Even when we don't live together in a huge family a lot of us live in colony
@veen-a2092And among that 49% Americans mostly are Indians, South Asians, middle easterners and black africans.😂
@silversurfer-R4jNuclear family is a modern idea. Whats so funny about living with your parents?
@paxonite-7bd5Not only in India. In Nepal too 🇳🇵🇳🇵♥️
@SilentSentinel29For decades, the West mocked India's tradition of multigenerational living. Today, with many young adults in Western countries living at home, that model is being viewed through a different lens. Perhaps they are beginning to recognize what India long understood: living together is not merely an economic arrangement, but a way of sharing responsibilities, strengthening family bonds, and building resilience through collaboration.
@diwakarbhardwaj346Living with parents is a blessing and lucky one get a chance to do so
@musicloverprithviAnd now Indians are going the other way
@StarlonelydhruvWe in India don't live with our parents because the rents our high. We do it because serving our parents is as good as serving God. It's no use making the West understand this cause its completely out of their scope of understanding.
@aqantassoftware3792It's culture bloody bullshit not the money. 😂 We are not the Civilization build by British pirates who think by only money and dildos 😂😂
@skmi010Living with parents makes stronger bonds inside family.
@cyriljacob4839We live with our parents to take care of them and vice versa....! We keep our family above every desire .we love our parents siblings and siblings children so much and we keep them ...
@Express06You need to control your breath while presenting. More breath sound is coming that is distracting the viewer's brain.
@WhiteBoardUniversityYeah you stay with your parents because scamming doesn’t pay enough
@dittohead7044And how many of them leaving away in other country and seeking for thier virtue somewhere else ??? Please give us a reply of this simple question too.
@rpshrestha8843I could not understand why they prefer to start life from zero wealth generation by generation; what is the point of generational wealth then?
@nabajyotigoswamiNalbariI m 30 living with my parents
@TechHackSonuKumarIndian families only has husband - wife and 2 or 3 kids and grandparensts having husabnd- wife. Thats it. Meanwhile american families has husband- ex wife- ex husband- ex wife - husband- wife - ex husband- girlfriend - so on and kids like of dogs, not know who belongs to who. Lol
@musicsi_recordsVery insightful report!
As a proud Indian, I feel happy seeing Americans rediscovering the beauty of multi-generational living. In India, living with parents and grandparents has never been a burden — it is our strength, our emotional security, and our cultural ethos. We support each other through thick and thin, and elders get respect and care naturally.
It is heartening to see that due to housing crisis, high rents, and economic pressure, young Americans are also moving towards this lifestyle. The American Dream is evolving beautifully.
Modern Indian families have also learnt to balance this with privacy and individual freedom. It is possible to live together with love and respect without compromising personal space.
Family is the real backbone in difficult times. India’s family-centric culture is proving more resilient.
Thank you Firstpost for this balanced report! 🙏❤

Breaking Indian Joint Family infrastructure was a delibrate execution by west to destroy core strengths of Indian societies and get slave like labor and nuclear families more vulnerable to brainwashing , conversions and coersions. The spreading jargon of old fashioned style was one of such divide and conquer strategies
@SudhishNairSThe West DID NOT mock India. Some stupid, immature people might have - and there are an equal number of immature humans in India. FIRSTPOST: Stop being DIVISIVE.
@rnrmenon2122In fact her husband gave a much better reply when asked this question. Abhishek Bachchan was asked as to why is it Indian children live with their parents ? His badass reply ? He said why is it American children do not live with their parents ? Bravo man bravo.
