Am going New York for 30th June to 7 July I can’t wait for it
Early in June, afternoon high temperatures are very nice, averaging mostly in the low to mid-70s f (22-24C).
Early morning lows will fall to the mid to upper 50s f (13-15C) while a couple of colder mornings can see lows down into the upper 40s f to near 50f (9-10C).
Summer in NYC is from July to mid Sept.
As the month progresses, temperatures warm up into the upper 70s f to lower 80s f (26-28C) while the overnight lows tend to be mostly in the mid-60s f (17-20C).
How Hot Can NYC Get in June?
Does it get hot in early June? Do I wear jeans with short sleeve t shirts? Does it get cool/windy during nightime?
On a few of the warmer days, the high temperatures can briefly reach into the upper 80s f (30-31C) with about 2 days, on average reaching 90f (32C) or more.
During past years, June has seen extremes as high as 101f (38.3C) and as low as 44f (6.7C).

HOW MUCH RAIN IN JUNE?
Sunny or at least partly sunny skies prevail on about 20 days this month so it is a great time for outdoor activities, such as our free walking tours.
Some rain occurs on about 10-11 days; however, significant rainfalls of 0.5 inches (13mm) or more occur only on about 3 days and mostly in the form of showers or thundershowers.
