Love your videos; they were a huge help on road trip from SF to SD. Made my family think I knew what i was talking about, thank you!! But with one exception....Old Spaghetti factory? Not good... service was terrible, sauce tasted like hunts ketchup..meatballs hard and super salty like frozen costco ones.... no parmesan cheese?!!? I had to ask and finally got a little "pizza place" cheese shaker after an 8 min wait.

As a born and raised San Diegan, if you have the time, take a quick trip to National City. Has the best food in the entirety of San Diego. Definitely not a touristic area, but if you're coming in a car its 10-15 minutes from Downtown.

@TripleR031I live in Baja and don't have US car insurance, so I walk across the border and can take the trolley and bus system pretty much anywhere I want to go for a lot cheaper than I could have driven it anyway. I've pretty much run out of things to see and do in SD.

@TheFreshAirChannelIf you stay in Mission Valley you can go from there to anywhere in San Diego. Rent a car. Back in the 1800's the Morman Battalion was sent to Old Town to help settle it. I think they have a visitors center there. Very interesting.

This is really well done and is an excellent overview of San Diego. I lived my first 49 years in San Diego, but have since relocated to NC. The “bertos” comment is spot on regarding good inexpensive Mexican food. When I went back to visit family five years ago all I ate was Mexican food and seafood for every meal. Another inexpensive place to eat fresh seafood that I like is Point Loma Seafoods.

@Webcam1971Good video, well presented yet I think you need to include a section on things to be aware of. I enjoyed many of the locations you covered, but was shocked at the number of homeless and drug addicts, nearly everywhere. Scary if walking alone, or a little lost. Cheers
