The Truth About Living in Korea As a Foreigner

Im down for working as an english teatcher but what do you think regarding other jobs? Is it possible to find something as a non Korean?

I think really foreigners need to see korea outside of being an English teacher only. There are so many routes and korea offers much more. I resonated with some of your thoughts but I felt in general you didn't do justice to actually living in korea. I think a lot of korean men are cute and handsome, and it doesn't matter when we date after we come here, In general I think dating here can be wonderful if we don't get caught up in crazy as you said. I think there is not need to hold on to dating, people can be learning things quickly if they find the right partners. Also, two three weeks isn't enough to feel Korea. But I know what you said about researching and that makes sense. I think knowing a few things in advance helps. Isolation works I think having moved to a lot of new countries., but thankfully if we can push through it eventually it gets better and suddenly we'd be surrounded with a lot of loved ones. I don't feel anymore me when I talk to my mum on call than I do with people here. I am holding on to a past version of myself. I am constantly growing and that change makes me feel lonely not being in korea as such. I think that's why I resonate with so much of what you said, but I feel you could have been a bit more honest if you understood korea a bit more deeply

Women that come from the states where they are used to guys after them all the time and they're picking and choosing who they want to date, they'll get to south Korea and be HUMBLED because they're no longer sought after like that, so that's something they should be prepared for.. I see SO MANY black women by themselves and struggling to date over in Asian countries.. It's not like the Caribbean...

I'm wanting to study abroad for 4+ years and live in South Korea in the near future. With a plan to study in the arts and business, would you think it'll be a little more easier to fit in with the community and make friends once I'm in a University? And what would be some tips on that?
