AI (Artificial Intelligence) is simply computer programming that mimics human thinking. Instead of just following a strict list of rules, AI is designed to learn, recognize patterns, and solve problems like a person would. Its ultimate purpose is to automate tedious tasks which speeds up complex work. Apparently it is for our benefit? Which begs the question: does the greater population of the planet want something that will cancel out their ability to work, to clothe and feed themselves and their families? It's not rocket science. The answer is a big fat NO.
I asked the AI bot what would be the likely fallout from AI restructuring globally and this is the answer and interpretation that it gave:
"The global fallout from AI restructuring is projected to trigger significant labor market polarization, widespread demands for retraining programs, and likely expansions of social safety nets like Universal Basic Income (UBI). At the beginning of this video, a woman spoke to a AI bot while its creator sat at a desk nearby. They sit in a room far removed from the rest of us who have to work and make a living. Is that what one of the Heroes of our Age looks like? Given the mayhem and destruction of jobs, I doubt that he or his fellow AI creators care about the millions of people who will lose their jobs. And please, enough already trying to make him sound like a hero in saying its not about the money. Its about money. Its about power or power of influence
ADDED NOTE; People tar all tech CEOs with the same label but Elon Musk is the exception to the rule imo. He epeatedly tried to warn governments about the existential threats of artificial intelligence since 2014, when he called it humanity’s "biggest existential threat". He even co-founded [OpenAI] to pursue safe, non-profit AI. I do believe he is the only one who is capable of keeping up with those who are pushing AI for the wrong reasons and hopefully will counter anything negative.

Wow what a powerful documentary and so much to glean from it. At 26:15 What a pivotal moment that a small child could see and understand the importance of harnessing our minds for things that really matter and yet the way in which his opponent jumped up and bragged that he beat a child is just indicative of where we are in the AI race. Imagine how different it could have been if they all collaborated together with no desire for one upmanship. But as the bible says, “The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it? Jeremiah 17:9 Demis with his pure heart receives a Nobel Peace prize and the rest working in silos because of their greed are breaking everything rapidly…just because they can. The whole while musing about how dangerous and disruptive AI will be to human civilization.
