Maybe you didn't write the best song, but you sure made the best cover. Wish I'd found it sooner.

This is beautiful on all fronts. This is real. This is the kind of content the music side of YouTube needs. This is the kind of music the world itself needs in its life. 😂 I've met Kristian several times in real life, and the hunger for realness was apparent and celebrated and refreshing and inspiring, as is his entire catalog, and every live performance I've witnessed live or online.

Lyrics:

Who are the 100k people who've watched this against my million?

— @GryanMIERS-jh7rm

Rows and flows of angel hair

And ice cream castles in the air

Very good

— @NiklasEriksson-v7g

And feather canyons everywhere

I've looked at clouds that way

Gorgeous version of a truly beautiful song!

— @michaelruse2579

But now they only block the sun

They rain and snow on everyone

We need a studio cover of this that's accessible all these years later

— @exRedMage

So many things I would have done

But clouds got in my way

Trousers.... Song is great, but, get straight.

— @joaobracourt

I've looked at clouds from both sides now

From up and down, and still somehow

Perfect as the original is also.

— @ohumanschool

It's cloud illusions I recall

I really don't know clouds at all

Feel free to play this in Vancouver next week. ❤

— @stevenmtownsend

Moons and Junes and Ferris wheels

The dizzy dancing way you feel

I was around 7 or 8 the first time I really listened to this song, sitting in the backseat of a car driving down a Prairie Highway. It was then that I realized music had meaning beyond just the lyrics — you could go deeper and experience more. It was such a pivotal moment, and I am so glad it was Joni Mitchell's 'Both Sides Now.' When I saw her live in 2023, it felt as if my life had come full circle, and I was suddenly transported from that car to the grass on that hill.

— @stevenmtownsend

As every fairy tale comes real

I've looked at love that way

Lovely cover. Well done!

— @gavinsteinhobel5071

But now it's just another show

You leave 'em laughing when you go

Just listened to this while a winter sun set at the beach - West Coast of Auckland New Zealand. Couldn't recommend that experience enough, if one were to find themselves nearby with this song in tow ❤

— @matthewinnes6804

And if you care, don't let them know

Don't give yourself away

That chord at 4:10 absolutely kills me in the deepest part of my soul everytime ughhhh

— @matthewcampbell9927

I've looked at love from both sides now

— @royglenn2487

From give and take, and still somehow

It's love's illusions I recall

What the hell? This brought me to great tears

— @RonaldDaBear

I really don't know love at all

Tears and fears and feeling proud

This is beautiful!

— @g1deon469

To say "I love you" right out loud

Dreams and schemes and circus crowds

Thank you

— @veronicasommer5513

I've looked at life that way

Oh but now old friends are acting strange

I’ve had the same opinion since I heard it for the first time in mad men. It’s the perfect song

— @TheEpicSimplicity

They shake their heads, they say I've changed

Well something's lost but something's gained

How was this seven years ago?

— @mjbutterworth

In living every day

I've looked at life from both sides now

magical.

— @kevnonstop

From win and lose and still somehow

It's life's illusions I recall

Damn nobody even knows Kristians best songs

— @PiglipsMaximus

I really don't know life at all

I've looked at life from both sides now

Where is that cliff? It's stunning

— @oyttyoungster

From up and down and still somehow

It's life's illusions I recall

bravissimo, ma la versione di questa canzone non mi piace per niente

— @rocarn1

I really don't know life at all

No, this is a tribute."

This song helped me in many ways, i crossed a very hard time recently in my life, my wifes had cancer at only 36 which caused storm in our lives. And somehow this song helped me to hold strong and not to colapse and keep our family united. Thank you this song was my light at the end of the tunnel.
