I predict the plot in the third Mario movie;
Mario and Luigi, the twin plumbers, apply their motto "Let's go" to solving everyday problems in the Mushroom Kingdom alongside Princess Peach, their trusty Toad, the Star Mother Rosalina, and the dinosaur Yoshi.
At a certain point, a group of individuals known as the Koopalings, the legitimate children of Bowser, now in skeletal form, attempt to drive him and his son Bowser Jr. away. They intend to find a secret source to bring him back to life and then convince him to destroy the Mushroom Kingdom.
Warned by Princess Daisy, ruler of the kingdom of Sarasaland, who is hunting two outlaw brothers and whom Luigi has a crush on, Mario, along with Rosalina, Luigi, Daisy, and Yoshi, embarks on a new journey to save the universe from the clutches of Dry Bowser, the Koopalings. Mario is cornered by the pair of criminal brothers, Wario and Waluigi, from his homeland, who have arrived after escaping a theft and finding one of the Mushroom Kingdom's pipes. Meanwhile, Princess Peach is forced to stay with Toad to administer her Mushroom Kingdom until the kingdom is threatened with death.
Mario discovers that Rosalina has an unexpected unfinished business from her past, which she never told Peach.
Three things I'd like to see:
1; The main protagonists are Mario and Rosalina, because at least they give the latter more space than the latter, and they can also justify the fact that she and Peach are sisters in a more sensible way. The co-protagonists are Luigi and Daisy, and I expect a romantic subplot between the two. While Peach and Toad are more secondary this time around.
2; As I said, I expect Dry Bowser (since he appeared at the end of the second game) and the Koopalings as villains. But towards the end, to make it a little more epic, they can come up with anything; Wario and maybe even Waluigi could be there as obstacles, since Wario also comes from Super Mario Land. At first, it seems like they're just two mischievous assholes, but maybe in the end they do a little more to help Bowser.
3; Maybe Yoshi meets Red Yoshi, who could be Daisy's pet, and befriends him. So to give him a slightly more useful part than the second one, because Yoshi is not the one that stands out the most.
