Udio I've just tried, length of song not great run you around the block, and if you cancel early it says you lose your credits, which I thought weird. Really to much work for not getting a keeper. Give your Mp3 it didn't seem to work right by trying to a demp produced thing. For being ranked #2 in the field, user friendly, didn't seem to great. But 12 hrs or better and maybe about 2 minute could keep if Ya used a trim paste feature and edit thing. Will work in there more & see if gets easier, if credits run out now, I would surely cancel all together. Since you can't use it, seemed it was advertised one could.

I've been using Udio from week April 2024 and experimenting with Suno for the same amount of time. As a musician for nearly 50 years, Udio has been great for ideation, with style uploads, ideas can be tweaked to a great degree and if you want it to, your ideas will still sound like you. Suno on the other hand kind of puts a commercial pop song vibe on nearly everything. If you want that, great! If you want music that does not adhere to strict commercial rules chose something else.

the sound quality is pretty bad ....

Suno vocals have some sort of screeching sound in my ears 😑. My DAW can do a lot but it's tough to get rid of those artifacts. With music you don't hear it but when I separate the stems it sounds bad 😑 so yeah not really worth it to use Suno

I use SUNO for few months and the experience is so far so good. It's user friendly and cost effective. However it still needs lot of improvements. No major complaints so far.

You should open up an AI prompting school, seems like you know how to prompt very well.

People have always underestimated artists blindly until they finally found a way to make money from their arts with AI.🙄

All the while, the whole society has been telling us that theres no money in Arts. If that is the case, why are AI companies developing AI models to generate art and monetize it for their own selfish interest.

I thought they said there was no momey in the arts.

It's only when ai came around that these companies finally agreed that art is valuable.
Its all ENVY.

Theyve always know deep down that artists are valuable, and they've always wanted to become like the artists, but failed to accomplish that.

This AI invention is their revenge mission and a coping mechanism for them.

And this coping mechanism is very innefective, I tell you. It can never go far.

I mean what the hell is wrong with us?

We shame someone for being bad at doing something, but at the very moment that same person does something amazing, everyone else wants to claim that they can also do it, even when it is obvious that they cant.

Music is not for everybody to do as a profession. It can only be for everyone to do as a hobby.

But to do it as a profession, there should be an existence of an objectively calculative and reaosnable selection of who has the capacity to thrive in it.
Thats why every industry has at least, a gatekeeper to take that responsibilty.

However, Im not in the position to tell you if it is a select few or a select many that are cut out for the arts profession.

The sucess potential of an artist depends on if that person is talented in the first place; not just hardworking.

A lot of people think "talent doesnt exist."

I dislike anything that generates whole songs. It just defeats the purpose of music creation. AI is a nice tool sometimes, such as the stem separators. Fully generated songs are not that good, and they lack the connection that most of us want from music.
