You’re a lucky man Marc , not everyone gets a mother , or a father for that matter , like you did . You kinda blew it but if you keep praying to and for your mom , I’m sure she’ll hear your message ! I wish I had parents like her . Mine , including stepfathers , treated me like I was in their way and a nuisance . So I left home right after my 16th birthday , moved across the country to live with my single father who was never home . 16 and no direct supervision is a formula for disaster , it’s a miracle that I survived it all ! Pray for and to your mom Marc , it’s never too late !

All my siblings are addicted to both heavy drugs and alcohol. 2 of my younger siblings are already deceased because of drugs and alcohol. The others may soon be also! I left home at 17 with 20: dollars in my) pocket. I always thought I was a failure. My mom always reminded me at every opportunity. I felt like I was the dumbest and most incapable person on earth and I would probably be dead or in jail before I was 30. I just retired making a 6 figure income, having served in combat for my country, being in federal law enforcement. I made myself succeed! I learn a saying in Boot Camp! IF SUSSES IS TO BE, THEÑ IT IS UP TO ME! That is how to live your life!

@brokenbossaMy mom died on February 18th, 2026. I was with her on her last day. I got the privilege to tell my mom I loved her, that it was ok to stop fighting, that I would miss her, but I would be ok.
She had been restless that whole day, but after I td her that, she calmed down, her breathing got quiet. And about 30 minutes later she was gone.
I do hope she felt some level of peace at the end.
everytime I do something, I ask myself, for what ? and for whom?
@RIQA-aMy mom helped me set up a Facebook account a few years back......was going through a divorce......I moved back home been gone for years working underground.....was home two weeks.....had to work evening s cause the chief electrician got sick....pulled up at 4am she was waiting.....mind u i was 35.....still waiting....as I walked in.....she couldn't wait to tell me my Facebook and password.....and messenger...I flipped....said leave me alone.....u have no clue what I've been thru last night....and I slammed.the door.....the next morning she came to the door...knocked....asked if she can tell me now....I showed my ass again....as she told me all the info for my socials...but before I slammed the door. ...she started running ....dad and I followed behind her....in my hea d I was.thinking. ....what now....always something...let me.guess u don't feel.good.....she fell and died in my arms.....blood clot....I tried everything......I lost everything ....job....wife......home.....and my dad....I still live with him....but nothing is the same...he's not the same..I lost him that morning too...I should've gave her time...I still havnt recovered.....
