Our teacher spoke of things to us over eighteen thousand years ago. We did not believe him. He came again & again. We would not listen. It seemed irrelevant. The times were difficult. The old empire had passed. Civilization was scattered & lost, & many great ones were driven underground & destroyed. Pursued they were. Records of history were destroyed. It was a period of great undoing. In the face of such calamities, the words he spoke seemed barely relevant to us. And yet we chose to listen, for we had heard his words before. An ancient chord was struck in us, an ancient memory. We had a recall of an experience before birth that we could not forget. They placed us on a dais & prepared us to enter the world. They cast a light over our head & they said, “You will not forget this light.” And we remembered. Our Teacher, who is with us now as he was then, prepared us. Things that we encounter are far less difficult though we have many more needs & complexities in our life than we did. Food & shelter— these were our concerns. We now have many concerns we did not even dream of.

67. I don't remember the year but I do remember meeting the medicine man for the Cherokee nation. 2400 valley view lane Dallas Texas. We stood out side Cisco eagle and talked. 3 days later I had a dream or a vision I don't know. But I remember standing by a fence with a man i didn't know looking out across a large valley of green grass to my left was a tree line full of trees looking upon it I saw an elk fleeing his head down and shaking it took me a minute before I realized the elk couldn't hold his head up because in his antlers there was a large log locked in them he kept running shaking his head trying to free his self. When the lig came free I looked at the man beside me than back at the elk the elk held his head high and ran for the mountains to my right the man spoke and said go up to the barn and get a couple of Indians and put the log back on I walked to the barn I looked in I saw rolls of cells full of people I'm not righting no more we followed the elk into the mountain we all stood there looking at him. We have been hiding since that day 67

This makes me feel closer to my Great great grandmother which was Half Native American.

This is the natural way, the genuine way, the way that exists beyond all speculation & philosophy, beyond all the fears & ambitions of humanity. This is the way of things—forever mysterious, beyond our comprehension & yet fully available to serve us in the immediate circumstances of our life. Such is the greatness of the mystery of our life, & such is its application in even the smallest detail of our life. Thus our life here is complete & greatness is with us because of our relationships.
Allow this day to demonstrate both the reality & the denial of this great truth, for as we see the world in its denial attempting to act out the substitutes for Knowledge, we will learn to value Knowledge & to realize Knowledge within ourselves.
