What about teenagers?

I love this because it prevents scattered attention...

Now... what about the rest of the kids in the classroom?

How would I manage all of them?
Let's assume I cannot let them play while I am talking to one of them.
Please, it's an honest question.

I want to sincerely thank you for putting together this video. What I’ve noticed on many education channels lately is a lot of teachers announcing their resignation while handing out blame to parents, society, cell phones, the moon, and just about everything else. What makes your video different is that you’re actually offering solutions. You’re sharing strategies, techniques, and practical ideas that educators can use right now, and that creates the kind of conversation that moves the profession forward. As someone who spent 20 years in the classroom and 10 years as a school administrator, much of my career was working with students with emotional and behavioral challenges, and those students taught me a simple lesson: complaining never taught a child to read, solve an algebra problem, or regulate their emotions. My job was to meet students where they were—whether they learned best through auditory, visual, or hands-on instruction, or whether they simply needed someone to understand the emotional state they were in before learning could begin. The question was never, “Why aren’t they learning?” but, “What can I do differently to help them learn?” That’s why your message resonates with me. It reminds me of the idea that real change comes not from cursing the darkness but from lighting a candle—and in education sometimes that candle comes with a behavior plan, differentiated instruction, and a backup lesson for when the first one crashes and burns before first period. Thank you for focusing on solutions rather than excuses. That’s the kind of leadership our students and our profession need more of.

How about kids just listen because they are supposed too. How about being told once is enough .. how about kids should just be taught first that listening and doing is important..... 1 billion Chinese population and if they tell their kid they are going to learn piano at 4 years old that's bamn well what they are going to do ... Why do we Americans playcate children souch and give them so.many choices .. all this guy is teaching kids is that they don't have to listen unless they are spoke to the way they agree with .... This produces Karen's and Kyles ..

I wish i found this video at the beginning of the school year lol. I've been home schooling my daughter for kindergarten using curriculum that requires looking at lessons on laptop. I'm willing to close the year out strong, but I'm wondering how to incorporate the face to face when i also have to use they're laptop.....

This is what I do every day: whenever I have a chance to sit down, they will come to me, sit next to me. Even if they are upset at times, they will calm down after a few word with them. because they trust you

This guy is very good- energy is repetitive here but it’s absolutely necessary because children can 100% detect it well. I have to forward this to other parents, thanks!

I’m only 9 minutes into the video and already had a chance to try this out twice with my three year old. Usually he yells “no” when we tell him to apologise, but this time I got on his level and gave him the choice to apologise now or after timeout. He apologised straight away with no arguing for the first time in ages 🎉

If they are autistic, you do not want to touch them as most do not like that at all, like many other special needs kids.

I don't have the energy that my kid can't do this, but I do have the energy that idk how I can get face to face with both of my children each time I need them to do something. As a solo parent with two kids, I'm kind of feeling stressed just thinking about attempting this. I really want to do it, though. We NEED some sense of calm and control in this house! It feels like it's getting out of hand. 😔

Thank you for offering the content and the answer to the question that everyone coming here has. It's refreshing to see someone providing helpful information, not some scam to try to get people hooked and make them jump through hoops and pay an arm and a leg to get some vague, mediocre information.

Hello there,

That’s great advice I just saw demonstration. I tried my little one three years old. I start doing it because I never done it before. It’s like crying trying to run around. What could you do to make him feel comfortable to insist to stop and keep doing it and one here can help be awesome. Stay blessed.

Stop touching our children, as a mother, I do not agree with someone transferring their energy whether good or bad in my absence with my child. So I say NO TO YOUR TECHNIQUE.

My 3 year old has recently had trouble with NOT doing things I tell him to. Is this method helpful for correcting instead of defaulting to time out? I can see this being incredibly helpful with practicing our lower case letters on a daily basis to proactively manage expectations, but we are recently in the “test the boundaries stage.” How can this be used when let’s say, he throws his fork on the floor and I tell him to pick it up and he runs away instead? The only thing that has worked is me saying “ok mommy is going to pick it up” and he’ll come running saying “NO! I WANT TO!”

Jesus Christ is risen and calls all people to repentance and faith. He died for our sins and offers mercy, peace, joy, and eternal life to those who come to Him. Believe the Gospel, be baptized into His holy Church, and follow the teachings of Christ found in the four Gospels. Christ alone saves, and through faith He helps His people remain faithful to His commandments. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. God bless everyone reading this. I personally recommend the Oriental Orthodox Church ✚

Excellent training for teachers and parents. Thank you! Many parents ask too many questions, like you said this requires that the child buy in to the proposition.

I have a son who I am trying to have potty trained and he’s six years old and he is denying and I need any help and all the help to get him potty trained. I tell him that he’s got this. He is smart. He is wonderful. he is strong. I give him all the positive things to encourage him that he can go potty in the toilet and he just will not which is causing issues with me and the school
