@simplementeuno5037Man, some of you guys really snort nostalgia to keep moving. The ‘87 movie had its moments, but it wasn’t high art and was, itself, a less-than-faithful adaptation. I trust Wright and this looks like a salient satire that’s also fun as hell.

What a timely trailer drop when the Senate just passed the bill that's trying to drop 11+ million people off medicaid and slash budget of school lunch + senior meals, in favor of billionaire tax cuts. We have a literal reality show guy as president.
People complaining about the tone are showing their privilege/age - the content is way too close to a possible reality for the target audience and only the upbeat vibe of Edgar Wright can make it watchable.
Why!? Just why!? Cinema is actually done at this point.
