Iwatani Naofumi, a run-of-the-mill otaku, finds a book in the library that summons him to another world. He is tasked with joining the sword, spear, and bow as one of the Four Cardinal Heroes and fighting the Waves of Catastrophe as the Shield Hero.

I really liked season 1 & 2 but after that I sorta stopped caring cause it felt the direction went kinda weird. I still watched it, but surprise this series keeps getting season after season, when there's other series like No Game No Life or Accel World in just limbo hell....its not fair
