I do have a fight each and every day trying to understand which side do i support. The regime which has ruined our lives or the powers trying to use us. They killed Khamenei and thanks for that but no I dont believe em and the regime? No thanks. Unfortunately there is no absolute right here and we are stucked!

The Iranian people are stuck as you say around 80% between them, the government and the outside powers that keep trying to tell them what to do for the past century.

Why do we as Americans think that it’s okay for us to constantly stick our noses in everyone other countries business and tell them what kind of government they should have? That’s more than half the reason why the majority hate us Americans!

On top of that we as Americans have also been stuck with a useless and corrupt government that has shown nothing but selfishness, manipulation, experimenting and exploitation on their own citizens! Now we are in this messed up economy that our Capitalism starts looking like Communism more and more each day yet let’s continue to not focus on our people and fight a war that we don’t need to be involved in at all.

When will we as American citizens stop arguing with each other and do something for ourselves, unite and demand our leaders to take accountability for where we are right now as a country and to stop worrying about the rest of the damn world. About damn time for our “Leaders” to worry about our own country right now, this damn second because everyone is hurting and struggling to survive. Oh yeah I forgot we can’t do that because most of the politicians have their money tied up in oil as well as our actual currency is based off of oil. It’s sickening to what American has become. The greed, corruption and manipulation has become so bad that I don’t think there is a way back.

Let’s just keep doing what we always do and expect different results (which is the definition of insanity!) by keep arguing amongst each other, the working class, about politics, race and other things that don’t matter and that has got us all no where for the last century! Carry on.

Honestly, 90% of global conflicts and oppression are just results of british imperialism (and their european "friends). Somehow, the british commit the most crimes, receive the least punishment, and have zero accountability.

The real reason the United States doesn't seek to overthrow Iran's Islamic government is that, from a strategic perspective, this government has turned Iran into a much weaker regional power. That weakness has benefited other countries including Russia and china, the Gulf states, and especially Israel. In reality, the goal seems to be to keep the regime contained and harmless, not necessarily to remove it altogether.

Good documentary, but 2 things that are potentially not true:
- not sure if Iran was persuing nuclear weapons in the last decades: the previous supreme leader that was killed last February, had a Fatwa against nuclear weapons since 2003.
- not sure about this 80% of iranians not supporting the regime, that was dropped at the end of the video. We know that iranians are nuch more unified around their government since the israelo-american war started. However maybe more than 80% of americans do not support the american regime.

Good effort and research but full of inaccuracies. The relationship between the regime and the country and people is much more complicated. The regime is not as religious as you and many think. The fervor religious slogans are indeed political and ideological tools. In reality, Iranians, and not only the general Pulic opposing it but the supporters of the system too, are less religious than for example in Turkey. There are also very nationalist intellectuals and who still support the foundation of an independent Iran, but kennly support fundamental changes in the political system and surely the absolute majority of the nation despise foreign intervention and war against the country.

Most of the history here checks out. Great Game rivalry, the 1890 tobacco monopoly, the 1953 coup, SAVAK, Khomeini's rise, all solid. A few things worth correcting though.

Some of the "combat footage" making the rounds wasn't even real or AI-made, it was recycled clips from other conflicts and, in at least one case, straight-up video game footage from ARMA 3 passed off as the real thing. Kind of funny, kind of pathetic, and not exactly the behavior of a government that feels unbeatable.
