(I even won 60 quid)
Cheers!
In this poker lesson I break down several key strategy fundamentals â including which hands to play and when to bet, raise, bluff, or fold.
If you're new to the channel, my name is Nathan "BlackRain79" Williams and I am a 10+ year professional poker player and 3-time best selling author.
Poker is a game that is easy to learn but not even a lifetime is enough to master.
The guy who claim he know everything is the most stupid.
The guy who flaunts the question: "do you know who I am?" is a nobody.
Poker is fundamentally a game of skill and I believe that focusing on the basics is the most effective way to improve your game.

On 3) I can tell you almost always if you bet in river, NIT will Call, not raise it. So you are done at this point.

My hardest thing is going into the river card 80+% win rate and losing to some morron that had a line 7 & 3 off suit and pull off an inside straight, and other bad beats, I am fortunate to usually get good hole cards, and good at knowing what they have by their way of play, but man the other day I lost like 6 bad beats in a row, it was horrible, you look at the cards after and I'm like no freaking way that just happened ! Next day I was back to normal play, but it drove me nuts, I had pics of each hand and kept showing friends and family that day, and most of them probably had no idea what I was showing them, some did .

Been playing for a couple years. Tended to play basically any hand with a chance for a while, lost a lot. Last game I had the highest or second highest winnings because I watched a few videos like yours. On my way to a $100 buy in rn, appreciate the advice bro
@SandboxXplorerMy first time playing poker with real money was two days ago, when I saw this video. Just 5 minutes ago I got 2 place on a tournament and won 71$! THANK YOU VERY MUCH, MASTER! I got a deal with you, but you don't know about it: when I win enough money I will buy your course IMMEDIATELYđ¤
P.S. My hands still shaking It was 6+ hours battle...
BAD BEAT!!! Example: you have pocket As. You go all in on small blind (because you only have 900 out of 1000 - forced)
Flop has an Ace. Youâre out of betting more since youâre all in on small blind. You think you got it in the bag to win at least what your pot allowed.
The turn, the river.
Then you all turn out your hand!!
You then realize your Ace set is beat my a NUT STRAIGHT! And youâre out.
đcrazy but good all at the same time. I wouldnât want to be out any other way than that. đ đ
Is this video more for cash game or Tournament games?
@ASteeleWifeyPlease choose another word for your audience. Calling us all guys is inaccurate. It's not gender neutral. It's eliminating and silencing everyone else. Please and thank you

@damenteschHow much BB should i bet pre flop with KQ , KJ , QJ ? Thank you sir
@INDOBILLIARDI really like the general rule of playing & betting aggressive of "good hands". I've struggled with this strategy early in low stake tournaments though because of the crazy nature with how so many people go all-in with mid to bad hands.
@el0zilchoTip is laugh when you lose cause you will lose a lot
@winkstar9265Oh yeah gonna be a winner in life.
@winkstar9265Since I used your knowledge I've won $700+ my 1st 3 sessions

@joshnorman2918This guy is all business he just seems good at poker in affect
@sneezweaselGreat breakdown of the tight-aggressive strategy! Itâs helped me move from beginner to solid home-game player. I usually stick between loose- and tight-aggressive, never passive.
My issue is that my group doesnât follow standard rangesâmost are loose-aggressive âmaniacsâ who play nearly every hand and rarely fold. Any tips on adjusting aggression when bluffs donât work and pots stay small because opponents back out too early?
great teacher
@richtawee2007I want to become the best player in the world, cross your fingers please.
@kigelaberIâm playing for money for the first time with my family so thx for the tips
@looxmaxingoonerfromhairypottyThis and the âpoker cheat sheetâ are both valuable beginner sources but it is going to take a lot, A LOT more to beat even the lowest levels today.

@anneclark8221I learned in prison. None of this hangs in prison poker people call anything đ
@ClutchMcSteakif everyone follows these tactics in general, then wouldnt the game just be extremely readable? then what about bluffing and all
@januthcs4286I was skeptical at first, but as a casino player for over a decade, he actually has some good advice. It's a good textbook style, but luck and wild players will shake things up
