Every AI tool excels at one thing. #ChatGPT follows complex instructions without dropping steps. #Gemini handles video, audio, and massive files other models can't process. #Claude produces working code and polished copy on the first try. Perplexity fetches accurate information in seconds. NotebookLM answers only from your sources, so it can't hallucinate.
This video breaks down when to use each tool based on three years of daily use, first at Google and now as a creator. Part 1 covers Everyday AI and Specialist AI. Part 2 covers Creative and Productivity AI.
If we need a machine to think and write for us then as a society we are lost.

00:32 Everyday AI
00:47 ChatGPT
I love to use Everyday AI, Claude and NotebookLM. these are three must haves for an all rounder pack. I also use a lesser known tool called AI BrandFactory for content creation? Have you heard of it?
02:46 Google Gemini
05:15 Claude
Does perplexity win at anything? That’s got to be the first one
07:45 Recap: Everyday AI
08:14 Specialist AI

08:47 Perplexity

Gemini isn't worth a damn anymore after Google put a paywall up and made the AI dumber

I enjoy probing and experimenting with their different limits as well. I am definitely just dumb pleb, but I have found for the things I'm doing with it that bouncing optimization of whatever I'm creating between GPT and Claude seems to act synergistically almost like a left and right brain GPT being the more expansive or creative side and then Claude being a more grounded logical side to polish it up
EDIT: Maybe I'm not such a troglodyte 😂 It sounds like you have found similar results- GPT= brainstorming
Claude= final draft

nice vid! where is part 2?
@user-aymanzonethis is the kind of content that teaches something useful without making it feel complicated
@denLloyyyyd-t2rthis is the kind of content that teaches something useful without making it feel complicated
@denLloyyyyd-t2rreally enjoyed the way this was explained clear, practical, and easy to apply in the real world
@denLloyyyyd-t2rthanks bro
@bernardwanggThe mental model of matching the tool to the task is exactly right and it's something most people skip. They just pick one tool and try to force everything through it.
One thing worth adding to this framework: when you're building an AI-native product or business, the domain name is part of that same positioning logic. A clean .AI domain instantly signals what kind of company you are before anyone reads a word. It works the same way you described Claude being the right tool for the last mile of writing. The right domain does quiet work that most founders don't think about until it costs them a deal or a brand confusion problem.
Great breakdown of the everyday vs specialist distinction. That framing is genuinely useful.
Thank you for the video! It was very helpful. Is there an AI tool I can use that can help me in searching for the cheapest flights?
@Firefist18This great
@AiToolsDaily-w6wWhich tool is best for studying?
@syedshayanurrehmannice and informative
@AIWizard-k3jif i want to optimize my linkdin using ai which is the best to use suggest one
@DevU-000What happened to copilot because work has this but they don't show how to use this to its full potential, why was copilot not included with your 3 AI''s?
@starryeye3482"Really enjoyed this 👏 clear explanations, practical examples, and straight to the point without any fluff!"
@aakashbhatia_2"Very well explained 👏 clear, practical, and packed with useful insights without wasting time!"
@rohitdangiji"Excellent breakdown 🔥 easy to follow, packed with insights, and no unnecessary fluff!"
@tanvi.parekh"The way you explained this made a complex topic feel surprisingly simple 👏 great breakdown!"
@jay.shah89Amazing video Jeff - love the segmentation of these tools and your prompt optimiser - extremely handy!
@getaftertoneGemini has its flaws but the way it talks to you is much more human-like
@JCFDCt-nc7tjThis s*it is getting way out of control, trying to hook the viewers in the video with some geek edits and animations that doesn't do sh*t for your understanding of the video. Not only this dude but everyone who makes tutorials is just a geek in here. I can't focus on what dude's saying man, just cut this bs edits and make it clean and uncluttered. Not continuing video after like 45 secs, just so that it's known.
@Mustafa-uz5wpA lot to appreciate here
@TheAIUniversity-PodCastpart 1 is just pushing the corporate shit. I'm out.
@gregmaxwell7636AI doesn’t replace people — it replaces people who don’t use AI. This is the shift happening right now.
@BreakItDown-s6vThe problem with gpt is it sometimes gives very very wrong info and sometimes the messages comes to an limit!
And big part is everyone is now boycotting gpt yk right?
And for could I must say It's very good but
They disabled my 5 gmails in a row for no reason!
Then come Gemini It's from google
Google eats huge amount of phone ram.
So why risk it?
A minimal 'only AI tools you need' stack is usually one general model, one coding agent, and one RPA connector, because context switching across ten tools is where productivity dies.
@AIOptimizerDo anybody on YouTube do proper work or what?
@Steve-d7t2sThanks for sharing. Please make videos how to use different ai tools in teaching
@theagrywomanI tried the new Reline note taking app for meeting and it is actually so impressive
@enginnerx1326In have been using Gemini pro for 9 months now. I have been really happy with it other than it's poor memory and missing steps for efficiency. But overall it does everything greatly better than other models for me at least when you know what you're doing.
@K.H.A.Y.A.L.ISeems interesting
@BradleyBerry-v5kGreat breakdown of the privacy features, most people overlook that when downloading new apps
@cassyyyy-x5qWhat about Meta AI?
@FabeLive1It’s cute and this is great information for the typical housewife or entry-level office workers but you have no engineering background so it really shows with your lack of advanced knowledge besides just end user basics
@Eric_In_SFYah google browser ai SUCKS it trys to impress u instead of giving u truth
@ColtonGumansolid breakdown. knowing which tool to use matters but so does knowing when to trust the output. i've watched people pick the exact right tool and still ship bad work because they never verified whether the answer was actually correct
