For me iPhone 6s was last goated iPhone but after iPhone X series they fucked up . I owned 6s and XS both were last few iPhone that were good but now they fucked up honestly . I switched to literally Xiaomi now because Samsung is also not that good I used s22 ultra and that device was screwed as my ex . Now Xiaomi note14 pro user it is good device just software needs optimisation

I would say, the iPhone 16e is more for those people, that would upgrade from an iPhone 7/8/X. These types of people just want something simple that will work for many years to come.

Apple released this dog of a phone for good reason. Sales of iPhone 16e will not achieve profitability and will be discontinued thus Apple will only support sales of larger (i.e. more expensive) models.

Here in Spain, you can get a new 15 for either €859 on the Apple store or €755 on Amazon, while the 16e is sold for €709. It's not that it's terrible value (I like that you can now get a new iphone for what a two-year-old model used to cost) but it's still too expensive. People who know about tech are likely to pay the extra €50 for the 15 even if it's worse in many key aspects. IDC about MagSafe but I use the 0.5x lense constantly. It's a rather bizarre choice between better battery, main camera, RAM and AI features of the 16e versus the dynamic island, double lens, MagSafe, and faster 5G, plus better aesthetics of the 15. As if having us choose between the identical 13 and 14 a couple of years ago wasn't stupid enough.
