I can’t believe people are still showing that crash between the Malibu and the Bel Air. It was proven like 12 years ago that the frame was cut on that Bel Air to make it crumpled away it did. If that thing has been less structurally sound, you’d be lucky to smash a headlight with a crappy piece of tin from the future.

The problem isn't with the black Malibu, it's the woefully inadequate under-riders on the big trucks. The trucking industry refuses to spend the money to make their trucks safer; we're talking less than $100 per truck. Sad.

What about crash testing of hitting a power pole or a tree dead center backwards you do front corners impact but front center and backwards needs to be looked at more because I was ran off the road and had the moter in my lap because it was a dead center head on hit at 65

There is simply no excuse for vehicles not being made to withstand these crashes. Enough research and money is put into this stuff. Car manufacturers need to rethink how a vehicle is built.
