Would really like a version of this voice WITHOUT the popping of hard consonants, iykyk and I'm struggling because I love the subject matter #misophoniaawareness

You’ll hear about:

– Why we dream, how memory works overnight, and what shapes dream emotion

Can you also speak about visions because I had a couple of them in the Bible speaks about dreams and visions? They are not exactly the same. My visions usually occur while I was awake, in prayer, worship, or in a spiritual state of awareness? The bibles says: Your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions? A dream is often like entering the inner chamber while asleep but a vision is like a door opening while awake? This is why John says: I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day. So he received the visions of Revelation. But in Revelation 4: It Says a door was opened in heaven. I believe heaven means the mind of Christ. So symbolically, the vision begins when the door opens. The dream journey begins when sleep opens the inner world?

Once I was sleeping and was slapped out of a dream from my sister? And I felt the stinging of it when I woke up I held my face and and thought why did my sister smack me?

Someone called out my name within a dream. Next thing I know walking my dog the next day someone called my name while sitting in their car.

47:04 my most vivid dreams were of the purple "monster blood" that reminds me of the goosebumps episode. The other was a crime documentary like an a&e special about Amelia Earhart crashing on a undiscovered island and the natives talked about her body having "bite marks" from the sky bears that looked more like 4 puncture wounds from some very large needles. The alien guy with the hair from the history channel was part of it as well and was saying sky bears were just UFOs.😂😂

This video really made me think — the way it explores dreaming and sleep reminds me of an Observatory piece called Why Do We Sleep and How Can We Sleep Better? It’s wild how much our brain and body actually do at night, from memory consolidation to emotional / physical recovery. Honestly helps me appreciate sleep more rather than see it as just “down time.”

Maybe small animals dream as part of preparation for their birth. Most animals need to walk within hours of birth and other animals are left to fend for themselves from the moment they are born. I know instincts play are large role in maximising their chances of survival, but who knows, maybe dreams play some part too 🤔
