And how many "experts" predicted that he will never win a slam, especially when he had that dip in form last year.

@reginahager2512:26 The fact that his brother Mischa (with the white Cap) immediately points to their Dad, speaks volumes about his character.
He coulda hugged and smothered him right away but he let the first real hug after the Slam win be with his Dad. Real brother right there
Well done Sacha, you deserve it after all those years!
@calypsocoaching9454I counted.. you hugged 5 people with your long arms. There is no match for your physical advantage, not ever. More victories shall be yours.

@SiLoMixMasterHappy to see him finally get one. So close so many times. Finally the breakthrough moment. 🇩🇪
@jeffsorby3475Does anyone know the name of the commentator talking at 1:15 who says "man who has been so stoic, held all those emotions in finally releases." I swear I've heard his voice commentating baseball games too
@Heybrotruthhurtshis dad and his bro are not even jumping for joy lmao
@starstationindyWell deserved
@pedrovieira6995The Russians are superior this year! Yes his father was ranked 175th and played for the Sovjet-Union!
@SA-oj3bogreat for him. this might have been his last chance at a slam. he'll get spanked left and right by Sincaraz and the new generation of players. he almost choked it again against a middle of the pack player like Cobolli
@OctopusNastat Last 🎉 🧡
@louiseosaurBravooo und ❤❤❤Glückwünsche
@sigridschenker-reitz9663To play during the BIG 3 and then to play during the BIG 2 is one heck of a draw! FINALLY HE DID IT!

@dianacrainiciuc8440Look at his reaction, look what it means. Finally 🙌
@angelines29Enhorabuena Sasha!!
Dije que pronto llegaría, y aquí está.
😊
He deserves it just on basis he stuck by it, the constant ass whooping courtesy of djoker, carrot boy and Carlitos, he stuck by it until all three fell and he clutched up.
@kingston4313Russland. . He is russland. In
@PabloTorres-ml4jtI'm italian but i'm happy for Sansha, Is a nice guy and he deservered. (Cobolli you did great, next time maybe 😉)
@Prinz_EisenherzHe deserved it more than all others.
@TheWhite1961As I Djokovic fan, I am waiting this for so long.
@0i0l0oI'm happy for Sasha Zverev and his first Grand Slam His generation was hard to win GS in Big 3 era and after that new era of Sinner vs. Alkaraz has become But Sasha found his chance to win Grand Slam on this Roland Garros and he deserves it
@AndreyUfa7He could have easily choked but kudos for his perseverance,some incredible shots and Cobelli was no slouch,he gave Zerev all he could handle
@jamesmack3314we got zverev winning his first slam before gta 6
@claudiazebrikNothing special. The competition was nonexistent. This "title" is worth about as much as Kevin Durant's rings—a freebie.
Gratulace a respekt🍀🎾💪
@TomasNagy-ex5nhWhat a demonstration of will power and physical power especially in the 5th set after being in pain for most of the 4th set. Congrats Sascha!
@foestarHerzlichen Glückwunsch 🎉
@frankthelakersdude86I've been watching tennis for years always hoping he'd win one. He got close a few times. I lost focus on tennis last years but now I'm so very happy for Alexander that he finally made it! Well done ❤
@alexbroere2669This’ll be a crazy documentary
@loominardyAfter so many people said he will never win a slam it is so satisfying to see Zverev prove them all wrong. It doesn’t matter if Sinner lost 2nd round or Alcaraz was injured, the fact that Zverev did what he had to do and has been consistently making it far in almost every tournament he’s played this season. Hard earned and well deserved.
