Based upon recently declassified files of the British War Department and inspired by true events, THE MINISTRY OF UNGENTLEMANLY WARFARE is an action-comedy that tells the story of the first-ever special forces organization formed during WWII by UK Prime Minister Winston Churchill and a small group of military officials including author Ian Fleming. The top-secret combat unit, composed of a motley crew of rogues and mavericks, goes on a daring mission against the Nazis using entirely unconventional and utterly “ungentlemanly” fighting techniques. Ultimately their audacious approach changed the course of the war and laid the foundation for the British SAS and modern Black Ops warfare.

One of the greatest action movies ever..! Allen Ritchson is amazing….hell everyone in this movie is amazing. Very very underrated.

The fight scenes and shootouts are very good. However, in this film, the Nazi forces seem easily defeated by just a handful of people. Overall, the film is highly entertaining.

I've read the book. The film isn't anything like the book. The true story is just as engrossing. Why does Hollywood feel they need to embellish and invent fictional characters who never existed and throw in events that never happened? Based loosely on a true story is putting it mildly. This does a disservice to the intelligence services and makes a mockery of the men who fought and died. It feels like it was written for teenagers.
