One year into the pandemic and finally the brunt of my whole life hitting me that I never lived for me but only followed the condition; I found a homeless girl and her dog who couldn't get accepted into shelters or apartments, gave her my prepaid months of rent and signed my lease over to her. Gave all of my belongings to people who needed them. Packed a trash bag full of clothes, my dog crate, a tote with emergency essentials, and me and my two loyal and faithful dog daughters said goodbye to the conditioning. My best friend said he'd go as far south with me as he could while on work break and then would hop a plane when it was time for him to go back to work. We put this song on as we pulled away from our old life and headed south. Goodbye Illinois, we were not born to drown, baby come on. With barely any money, I hotel hopped and served a lot of dinners and breakfasts to wonderful people who shared beautiful stories while finding our footing. 5 years later, we thrive in paradise surrounded by beauty and nature, my career is rewarding, one of my dog daughters passed at 15 years of age the other is 17.5 sitting on my lap right now :) I'm so glad I decided that fateful night when I no longer wanted to force sleep in a life that was decided for me, to risk it all and do it my way. Everyone thought I was crazy, now everyone envies my courage. Lead with love and live with love. It has to start with yourself, and you have to listen to your heart. Everything came together when I found the faith in me and lost the desire to listen to the noise. This song gave me the courage and it's so rewarding to listen to it.

I come back here at least once a week.

This song always brings me back to one particular night I shared with an ex. I still miss her every now and then.

The first time I heard this song was in San Jose CR a person from the UK played it I was so in love with a German Girl! A huge hug to German.

These songs stir up too much emotion in me.
