17:20 Regarding electrification impact: An offsetting tradeoff is that NG is a leading fuel generating electricity in some parts of the world - Using NYC as an example of NG limitation is misleading as NYC is recently an island of liberal / socialist / eco-nutjob leaders, not a trend leading indicator

17:46 it’ll be a long while before the tankers become obsolete as we’re still burning the gas for electricity to power all those gasless homes.

I dead ass just tuned out what he was talking about and just listen to the music, it just perfectly balanced between not to loud but its doable to listen to either audio at once xD

I work in the pipeline industry, and appreciate you putting this video together. My only pushback is your assertion at the end that the pipeline will become obsolete as we electrify. The Federal Government's US Energy Information Administration (EIA) projects that demand for electric power will increase by between 33 and 75 percent by 2050. In the same time, they project that demand for Natural Gas will increase by 11 to 57 percent. The biggest part of that demand growth for gas is because 15 to 20 percent of global power generation is natural gas fired.

In the end, we still need all forms of electric power generation (fossil, solar, wind, hydro, AND nuclear) to meet our insatiable thirst for energy.

Lol this video came on autoplaying, just as I was logging into my gas utility to pay my bill lmao

We had an Enbridge pipe explode close by. It was the loudest thing I have ever experienced. It was for at least 6 hrs. It sounded like an alien invasion at 2:30 am.

It is all stupid and backwards as a Thorium nuclear reactor and hydrogen electrolysis can make the equivalent on the fly at the place of use.

Further it could also the use carbon capture CO2 can make synthetic diesel and gasoline locally and most nations have coast line access to seawater that can also be desalination source of water for electrol

It’s all BS. People are being used by politicians. Alberta is not going to separate but maybe Canada will heal itself and realize we must export our commodities to someone besides the US. That means we need to drop policies that kill investment. It’s going to happen. Canada will be better off because of this pressure.

Almost no mention of the devastating climate impacts of methane leaking, 80 times worse than CO2.

The breakdown of the logistics in this video is incredible. We often just look at the final economic output or our monthly energy bills, but understanding the raw, complex mechanics of how natural gas actually moves from point A to point B—balancing massive pipeline networks and the sheer scale of LNG cryogenic shipping—is where the real insight lies.

17:30 the electric alternatives you're mentioning ALL are powered by burning natural gas, the system is not going anywhere or becoming less relevant

Sure renewals like wind and solar are increasingly more popular as a supplementary fuel, but nothing will ever beat the dispatchability and flexibility of natural gas electricity generation

WTF is the point of the idiotic piano music? What does that have to do with gas pipelines?????

It's cuz of the damn Democrats and you maybe even part of it. The likes from New York and LA in California are going to have increased energy costs because they don't seem to get the head out of their butts.

Electric power flows freely from the sky and requires far less bullshit to set up, use and maintain. Fuel is non-renewable and toxic. Stop burning things we don't need to please.

The idea that natural gas is becoming irrelevant is nonsense. Electricity doesn’t just magically appear, a huge chunk of it is still generated with natural gas.
And it’s not just power. Natural gas is a critical raw input, around 70% of global ammonia production depends on it. No ammonia means no fertilizer. No fertilizer means no crops. And what about heavy industry? Steel and cement production still rely on high-heat processes that largely run on fossil fuels. So what exactly is your claim based on?

It's amazing how natural gas can be this important to man yet logistics is still a challenge
