Was into the video until the end where it was talking negatively about how people can independently make content without the government's approval. Ummm didn't the first half of the video talk about how the government used Hollywood to spread propaganda? Doesn't really line up.

This is a great video, thank you. Though I disagree with your conclusion, I don’t think movies that disagree with the government as propaganda (the movies you mentioned challenge the governments current historic narrative), I think that the government still instills propaganda in film but now it’s less about American pride and more about identity politics.

He demonstrates and shows some of the propaganda films of the last century then finally ends with his own propaganda message.

There was a problem with American firefighters getting all kinds of lung diseases from asbestos and poorly working equipment. In that film all or most of the cast were seen to be heavy smokers. It's so obvious even a kid can see it.

Research the history of the term "Conspiracy theory". It's thrown around a lot, and it will help you to understand who coined the term and why.

Read George Orwell's 1984. After I read it the first time, I couldn't stop thinking about it for three months afterwards, because I saw so many things in that book happening in our society now.
