I didnβt understand for what reason is better get a payout of half profit? Like he say he reach 10k profit and ask only for 5. Someone can explain me?
JJ Simon, one of the youngest prop traders to achieve over $1.5M in payouts, reveals the mathematical approach he used to scale through prop firm evaluations, build a mechanical trading system, and remove emotion from execution.
In this episode, he breaks down the prop firm rules most traders misunderstand, why traditional trading strategies often fail evaluations, how he uses statistics and bankroll management to control risk, and the exact mindset that helped him turn prop trading into a repeatable payout machine.

The most galling part of this interview was his "OK, so first get a winning strategy with a positive expectancy, now, here's where it gets interesting...." It's like whoa whoa whoa.. Bro! I've been at this game over 10 years and I'm still struggling with the first part!

I watched this podcast multiple times and I canβt wrap my head around taking 20-30 trades a day and churning through accounts like this. Feels more like gambling tbh. But respect to JJ for crushing it just donβt know if this would work for me.

Waqar totally benefitted from interviewing this man. You can literally see the gears in his mind working of how to implement all the golden nuggets this man so nonchalantly dropped, whether known and intentionally, or indirectly from just answering Waqars questions.
This was golden, and I learned a lot! Thanks for this episode.
What I learnt most of all, is that I have to put in work!
$1.5M and chooses that haircut
@nollieflip1Why would Prop firms not want you to make money?
This sounded wrong.
Profitable trading IS, indeed gambling. Even the Casino is a gambler; they just understand exactly what their edge is.
@DanEmmonsGood
@AlphafuturesblueprintThis guy is a fraud and he's tricked a lot of you. Go look at his own vids. It's complete and I mean absolute nonsense. Some of his main ideas: the true fair value is the price before the news. Right so news never alters price right? Always recovers back to the price level before the news? Absolutely no way. There are many times where a news shock absolutely reprices the asset. Another one is that the true fair value is the opening price and price returns back to it. Look at SPY and see how many times it does NOT do that. There is price discovery and price very often moves away from the opening price. This guy is posing with his hand on his chin and standing with exotic cars in the background he had a bunch of you completely deceived. Just watch his own vid and his own claims. It's nonsense.
@pl2996Regular strategies work just fine
@ronniegurule3252I place nearly 300 - 500 trades per day.
@DanEmmonsdude too many ads...
@justanotherpickupguyWhat happens to this prop strategy when firm moves him to live?
@theGaryBBKabhi fiu pe anna bro...
@DiputradingHola prime is a scam just got scammed by them followed all the rules , i have screen shots and emails to prove it .
@dirtyindian1This video is honestly THE MOST USEFUL video youβve posted
@Sketches8The most important thing is finding a firm where you can focus on trading instead of worrying about unclear rules. Thatβs why I like the structure ForTraders provides.
@viktorstingdlearned alot , that boom in the last always feels unnecessary.
@AbdulRafay-f8g3iSo many Ai comments...
@lloydrogerspencerHahah the Amount of time Waqar got stunned with this guy approach is unbelievable...everyone should see this episode cause it has a lot more data than intuitions..Great Episode After long long timeπ
@Ab_InvIncredibly annoying animated text π’π’π’
@DJ369-MiamiThis kid is Smart!
@mike-x6x5hGreat guest great interview. Thank you
@sf-gs3izI've never traded prop firms. Why would you do this, instead of just using leveraged perpetuals with your own money in an isolated account?
@Firebrand911thx inspired
@forexhunter888Itβs so much easier to trade that way. Itβs simply pattern recognition without the whole looking for levels. Only Structure. He uses 1 minute. I use 2 minutes. Awesome interview brother!!!!
@WillRomeroTrade small is key for Prop firm trading edge/ Psychology
@WillRomeroMakes sense. I do something similar. Once funded, I trade way smaller size but more frequent; reason why i was sometimes was denied by APEX.. i use LUCID and TPT mostly these days
@WillRomeroMe after this interview π€π΅βπ« lol.
Great just have to listen more than once
Cap!
