My aunt did everything right, ate well only whole foods, vitamins, exercised daily, took classes to keep her mind sharp and she ended up with Alzheimer’s, and so did my mom. I personally think it’s hereditary.😞

@anaserrot6620Is there really a world of old people? Media keeps us far away from our reality!
@tajchoudhury6839Yes, this is my mum. Repeating words over and over and the anxiousness issue, and communication problems. And yet the family is in denial. Most of them say she only having a minor memory issue or they say she emotional over the loss of one of our siblings but she started showing symptoms before that. Only after his loss did it continue to decline
@Thecat-u5gi've had all these problems my whole life.

@Neru_fanloidThere is no treatment for dementia.
@marilynhoward4561Maybe you should be studying why all of a sudden this disease popped out of nowhere and is spreading everywhere.
Do something useful with your education instead of pointing out the obvious.
He has all of these but getting the right doctor to see it is difficult.
@Catrina-l3yThe Dis-ease. This is a Big Pharma sales pitch.
@viewtheworld261I'm very concerned that my mother might have dementia. Her mother had it, which is already not great as I've heard it's hereditary and she just can't remember basic things. She worked in an office for years and sent emails all the time, but recently she had to ask me to do it for her. She'd been pasting the email address into Google and hoped that would send the message, which makes zero sense. I've asked her to see a GP but she's too stubborn. I don't think it's just her age, a lot of what shes doing now doesn't make sense, she can't access a simple bank account any more 😢
@ycylchgamesNone of those treatments really do anything.
@paulineb66Hello doctor, I just wanted to ask a question, I’ve been hitting ahead three times and then I also fell on my head at one point really hard. Could that be causing my personality and depression change. Because it seems like after all that happened I have not been the same person. I get really depressed very depressed and anxious irritated. Sometimes I just wanna be alone all the time. I don’t wanna be around anybody else I used to not be this way. I don’t know what’s happening to me. Can you please help me and give me some advice thank you, sir. May God bless you thank you.

@ChristineJGoldMy husband has poor memory and recall. Its hard to know if it's dementia, because he's a narcissist and he doesn't listen to what other people say. But his verbal communication has definitely deteriorated. Worrying.
@louisemcelhill5748Can it start at 30?
@lilith8778So, will the treatment, or drugs stop the progression? No it doesn't, it only slows down the disease, you still have the disease. It makes a Doctor rich, while the patient is still sick.
@MykaelSmith-u7x2uThe brain does start dying, which causes disconnect between synaptic regions.
@whodhavethoughtit3784My mom just diagnosed early Alzheimer's...for way less symptoms as these 😮
@mariamiller2782All doctors are lazy and horrible. Many of them are druggies and drunks. They will do NOTHING. Our healthcare is in stage 6.
@johnhaun4575The brain is a very complex machine
@Passtorblunt420Not having a structure in your daily activities hurts the memory level. When I retired, I started noticing how days started to run together.
@Lexie-u7uThere is nothing you can do, there is no cure
@debrapotts2685My uncle has something going on, he called to tell my parents he lost his car at the Casino, so he ended up taking an uber to the car dealership to buy another one. Eventually he got a call about the one he lost. So my parents tried to go to the dealership to see about getting his payment back. We’re not sure what’s going on with him. But he’s being seen by his doctor today. It’s so sad to see him so confused really.

@MaryC-z6iWould chemotherapy cause this? Trying to figure out for my husband, my mother in law is getting pretty out of hand and has been for years but she doesn’t recall her violent blackouts and thinks she’s stuck in the past (like she thought we were in the 60s, and another time she cussed us for holding a baby when I was holding a book we don’t even have a kid)
