I really believe it was the image of a black man make his way through a system that is not favorable to him. Showing how the system of America is systematically racist. It was too powerful that it may literally cause a rise of black men inspired. Being that the show was inspired by the life of an actual inmate.

@shellanieoneil7628Wallace will eventually make maskins pay but that'll probably be 4 or 5 seasons later. With maskins in that much power, Wallace's family is about to be broken down starting with his wife. Aaron will be required to be selfish in this regard to take out this unfair prosecution system then save his wife after.

Not one show was boring or exhausting. Some ABC shows are just that. Please bring this show back. Appeal to all your audiences ABC. So tired of the same old same old. Good Doctor/ Greys Anatomy; Mixedish/Blackish; Housewife/The Conners/The Goldbergs; Station 19/The Rookie/Stumptown....Nothing compares to For Life.
