Whenever distance in mentioned in these kinds of videos, then true, it is worse than what we are being told. Why and how is that? It's because distance is give in kilometers and not in miles. Since 1 kilometer is about roughly a half mile, the distance figures in these kinds of videos are way off, and not true. That being the case, than what makes you think the rest of the information is true? So YouTube has to go back to the Imperial unit of length and not use the fake and untrue metric system of length. We are Americans and we do not abide by the foreign metric system but by the Imperial unit we have always used.
The distances in space are so extreme they stop feeling like distances at all. Most people know space is big. But there is a difference between knowing that and actually understanding what these distances mean in practice. What they mean for reaching the nearest star, for crossing the Milky Way, for the limits of the observable universe itself. At every scale, from Proxima Centauri to Andromeda to the cosmic horizon, the numbers are worse than you expect. And the deeper you go, the more you realize these are not just engineering challenges waiting for a better rocket. They are hard limits, written into the laws of physics, on what we can reach, what we can see, and what we will ever be able to know.
These are the real distances in space. And they are worse than you think.
I call bullshit on EVERYTHING NASA is telling us.
Here at Calm Space to Sleep, we make documentaries to be experienced, not just watched. Everything moves at a pace that gives your mind room to wander—through the solar system, across the galaxy, and out into the structures that stretch across billions of light years. No rush, no pressure to keep up. Just one scale flowing into the next, each one larger than the last.
Amazing for:
Just need wormholes eh
😴 Falling asleep – drift off with the quiet vastness of space
📘 Studying or focusing – calm visuals and steady explanations to help you concentrate
how do you know how bad I think they are? maybe I thought they were even further than they really are
🔭 Unwinding with the cosmos – for anyone drawn to life’s biggest questions, presented in a peaceful way
space, universe, cosmos, planets, nasa, space documentary, sun, national geographic, horrifying planets, spacex, voyager, exoplanets, top 5, ridddle, space facts, voyager 2, top 10, black hole, facts about space, mystery, jupiter, nasa discovery, earth, solar system, astronomy, saturn, mars, facts, strange, dangerous, objects, time, sleep video, science documentary, true scale of the universe, true scale of the milky way, space facts to fall asleep to, cosmic scale
Closest star is 4 light years away, which equals 24 trillion miles.
Cosmic radiation would kill any astronaut before exiting our solar system.

"For small creatures such as we the vastness is bearable only through love."
@darinbartosch1037No human is going to Mars
@kevinakakp9120Why is it the worst? AND THESES ARE JUST NEGATIVE PREDICTIONS FROM PEOPLE WHO THINK KNOW SPACE ,MY UNCLE WORKS AT THE SPACE OBSERVATORY ,AND WORKS WITH THE SCIENTIST,AND THEY SAID THIS EARTH PLANET IS GONNA GET BIGGER AS IT POPULATES
@zapprodd9382the distances are zero. portal technology is very very old. We've already colonized millions of planets and the Earth is the most corrupt out of all of them. We've had contact with the humans for more than a decade and no one wants to know the incredible information we've learned since. over 80 human races colonized the Earth and we've been isolated for 11,000 years. before that it was all wars for control of Earth.
@jimflask1164Correction - nobody has been to the moon.
@terencehurst8636Evolution is STUUPPIIDD. Because it's not provable or real. I only agree with measuring estimations. But not "billions and "trillions" of years. Because nobody was even around back then. And there was NEVER any "big bang". God just thought everything into existence. And. I was taken to the farthest ends of the known universe, by God himself. And I saw a HUGE ENORMOUS wall of fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥, that surrounds the farthest ends of the universe. And God challenged me to try to contrive or invent a method for measuring the dimensions of the enormous wall of fire 🔥. And he challenged me to try to count the days, months , years, of the age of the wall. And the depth of it, and then I looked all around, I looked up, then I looked down. And my eyes could not measure, and my mind couldn't phantom the age, or length, or spam, and or the depth of the fire. And I knew that God was inside of the fire. He is an all consuming fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥
@billscout3530Mars is an ugly planet
@yulegurreau3346Cosmic Radiation is not an insurmountable problem on traveling to Mars. Get your facts right people
@latouselatrec😂 still pushing the space narrative 😂😂😂
@enki9006Great presentation, but regarding the Fermi Paradox it fails to mention that in spite of the fact we can observe the entire timeline of the universe by looking further out deeper into it's past, we have not observed any evidence of an advanced civilization anywhere within that entire timeline no matter where we look. A sobering thought.
@donaldthompson2070Then if galaxies are moving apart, why is Andromeda moving towards us.
@11BravoInfantry-l8zThis was both calming and mind-blowing. The way these enormous cosmic distances are explained makes the universe feel more real, mysterious, and beautiful than ever. Perfect to relax, learn, and drift off to sleep.
@NightSkyRestGeorgia USA Midnight
@jimmyjoe4488"I came for entertainment and accidentally learned something. Unacceptable." 😆
@DeepSleepScienceofficialFace reality, people. There is nowhere to go if we make Earth uninhabitable for humans. Besides, even without the non-starters of distance and time, we could never find another planet so ideally suited for human life as Planet Earth, so don't shit where you eat.
@alansmiley3870Too many adds. Deleted it unfortunatly
@jimczerwinski4951Putting a human on Mars is not happening in this lifetime.
Until technology comes to a point where Mars' extremely high radiation doesn't fry humans to a crisp, we can forget setting foot on the surface.
Colchester ok
@davidturner8689'Worse' doesn't make sense -- why have you not used LARGER?
@davidmontville4885Gracias
@CurtisWebb-en5khBut it seems like if stars and galaxies are everywhere in every directions they aught to be local too! Just like in the video passing in front of camera.
@bobbyleggins3900Space is so far out only in these cgi space travel videos you'll travel pass a star or galaxy.
@bobbyleggins3900Everybody knows elon musk is a hoaks
@arsenlupin8580It is obvious, interplanetary fantasiys will never take place
@arsenlupin8580Every video about the cosmos ultimately conveys the same lesson: the universe is far vaster than my mind can comprehend. 🌌
