I do agree that the body modification CCs that clearly try and show incredibly unhealthy bodies should be heavily restricted. I understand “oh storytelling” but honestly you have to not look at these mods in a 2D way. Yeah sure story telling, or maybe it’s some 13 year old kid comparing themselves to it, or someone who is trying to copy sims with ED’s to try and bring attention to themselves (real issue btw, not attention seeking but a genuine mental health condition that makes people mimic harmful behaviours)

When you where talking about eating disorder mods I came to think of a Sim that should be banned or at least get a real overhaul. Candy Behr is fun and all, but no one has a waist like that. She is just anatomically wrong. A big a** and a super slim waist. The first thing I do in a game is to fix her. I can´t look at her until I have done that. I wonder why EA has not done anything because I know a lot of simmers who fix Candy Behr. But who knows mauby there are them who are really in to anorectic girls. The only violent mods I have is Sacrificials ultra violence and the only sex mod is wicked Whims which according to me is a must. Without mods The game would not be playable. I need more than a digital dollhouse.

I will say I personally don’t think the prostitution part of the wicked perversions is truly a case of trafficking in game. There are no pimps, it’s completely player choice what the sims does and you can also decline clients. I would say it’s more similar to being a sex worker in the red light district of Amsterdam then a 5 dollar hooker in Baltimore who has a pimp she has to worry about

EA does not ban users for such mods but developers like Turbodriver can detect them and disable their functionality if its found that another mod is hooking into it (i.e. CN's Devious Desires utilizing Whicked Whims' animations).

Not all of us have purposefully offed our Sims 👀 I’m not surprised people took it to far. Sad

In the context of ADULTS who play the Sims: If you can have murder mods, basemental drugs, suicide, etc., why decide the line is pedophilia or other darker mental health issues?

Either ban it all or not at all…because people often play the game for story telling…not to endorse everything they do with the game in real life…they are pixels on a screen, after all.

As for wicked whims, I do not find that controversial at all. It’s just adding realism to sexual activity and is perfectly fine for adults.

So i have recently heard of EA Banning mods, and im so afraid to download a mod that is going to ban my account. Tbh i don't do sadistic things... im vanilla. I like family game style play. But that doesnt mean i don't do hot romance, wicked whims, basemental ...becauee where i live everyone smokes the green. It's legal where i live. But sometimes ill download a mod, for a specific feature and not use the rest of it. So as much as i understand people not wanting to list the mods that get us banned... i really need to know which mods they are. And im confused... are miscarriages banned in game? Or you just don't like them? I've suffered many miscarriages in life or ectopics. I personally would love to have the option and mods more focused on loss, and healing, ceremonies, day of the dead rituals and decor. In a way its a way to have your sims honor life and all that in comes with. Including honoring their lost loved ones

unless you post what your doing on line EA has no way to know what mods you have on your own computer lets be clear

personally, i have downloaded the anorexic and bulimic sims 4 mods. as someone who struggles with those topics, it kind of shows me that what i am doing to my body is very stupid.

People are just soft. I like the Devious Desires mod, I actually prefer it over WW.

It's really a simple thing. If you don't like it, then don't use it, it's as simple as that.

I just mostly start with Teens they find a partner and my Teen often ages up days sooner than their partner and I hate that they can't flirt with each other anymore.

Kind of made a forced marriage buisness without mods 🤣🥴 just made a whole mini appartement inside of my church and transferred 2 random townie in my household lock the door and force them to flirt until planning the wedding at my church 😅

I don't think there is an issue with the self harm mod, it affects no one but the person who CHOOSES to install it on their own game

I am an Advanced Sims Player and Tell you: it’s okay to have weird mods. But I draw a line when it gets to abusive (Drugs, violent, abuse, 🍇) I think there is the line Where everyone should draw it. And I say it with a lot of ww animations 🌚 so don’t make things in the Game that are illegal in real life and you are fine.

Grape mode helped me to go trough trauma. I did experienced it myself and then I created a sim who represented a person who did it to me and did same to him in the game all over again and again with a lot of gore and violence and lowkey actually helped, I know that’s sound where but like it’s actually gave me some closure

Having ARFID myself that's so odd to want to have your character having and eating disorder, i don't like having this disorder, so why would i want anyone else to have it? i think who ever adds those kinda mods do definitely need help professionally

I know a part of wicked whims is incest but you can toggle it off which a good thing. I don't agree with this I don't think it should be included in the mod. Even if you can toggle it on or off. It shouldn't be a thing.

i understand your poiunt but to a certain extent, dont like dont use, the sims is a life sim and life is not all roses and daisies, eating disorders exist in real life and as long as it isnt glorified within the mod it can be a great story telling tool for people who are bored of the white pickjet fence gameplay, also miscarriages are something so many women experience, they arent this rare thing even though they are awful, it just makes the game feel so much more real and personal, seeing your sim cope with such sad life events and recover from them (such as ed or miscarriage ). That is just my personal take of course.

True story though, wanted a “teen pregnancy” mod and landed upon some of the most disturbing CSA mods it was HORRIFYING. Basically threw my laptop. There are absolutely so many sick people .

I think the base game should have miscarriages that you can toggle on/off. Miscarriages are sadly a part of life and should be included in a life simulation game

Personnally i don't think EA should be able to ban people for the mods they use

If the mod doesn't break the law you should be able to modify the game you bought however you want

And for things that do break the law it should be a police matter not just a ban from a game

There is only one circumstance where I’m ok with it: if you are a victim and use the sims as a coping skill such as I do. I would want to recreate my experiences but let my sim get revenger on her abusers as I never had justice irl.
