Three days later {embarrassed and angry}, Schmitz bought a shotgun, went to Amedure's mobile home, and shot him to death. Schmitz spent 18 years in prison.

@nataliedavis6651The Wipe Out contestant died without involvement from the show. All contestant take the same risk as anyone who accepts the dangers of a physical challenge. A production team is only responsible for how they respond to an emergency. These shows did what they could.

@tuulaleponiemi4328by putting a camera on people, it instantly makes them behave in ways that are so far removed from their true reality and selves, the whole concept is geared toward baiting people into acting and reacting in ways they would never think of doing in everyday life, I understand that millions of people watch these shows enjoying exactly this manufactured behavior, when it goes dreadfully wrong it should come as no real surprise, which is truly sad and an indictment on what we see as entertainment, I personally despise these reality shows for all of the reasons I have expressed, I know that my opinion won't stop these shows rolling on and on however as they make big money for producers and directors who are concerned with ratings and see the contestants as secondary in many cases.

( I can say this, im diagnosed bipolar,major depression, panic disorder, panic attacks, epilepsy, asperger's , pstd from both abuse, 13 years sober, im disabled from injuries /chronic pain bcs a drunk driver hit me going 50mph while walking and more) It's our choice to get help, take meds, counseling, take substances, or do nothing. Billions of ppl go througu worse and nerve hurt a fly. If you can't control yourself, why should the public risk their safety? Ppl need to take accountability and responsibility for THEIR choices.
