This played so much better when using The Weepies' song as background music. That had much more feeling than this instrumental. Just my opinion maybe, but it really feels impersonal now and is just "a dance", not a heartfelt story. Sorry.

as a dancer and an artist: this is wonderful. absolutely, perfectly wonderful. the choreography is gorgeous, and tells such an amazing story that wouldn't be able to be told in the same way if two real dancers were performing this. absolutely beautiful.

2:23 you either let her be free or to you stick by her forever. What's the point in chasing something that you'll just abandon in the end? Men who do this are cruel and self-centred. Just because she broke your heart and abandoned you so many times doesn't make it right to do the same when she finally lets you in. Either treat her with love, of whatever kind, or leave her be. I wish men could be better than this but it rings true for a lot of relationships.
