Excellent documentary! We all view each other based on how their actions ultimately influenced the things that matter most to us. As an American living in Europe, his role in the Second World War is foremost in my mind, and I'm eternally grateful to him. However, if I were of Indian origin, my feelings would no doubt be different. His views on British superiority make me cringe, but he was known to change his mind on things and I'm hopeful that , given more time, he would have seen all nationalities as equally deserving of independence and a fruitful existence without imperial governance.

I wonder what he would think of his Great Britain now.

I have some issues with Winston. Why he had earned the positioning of 1st Sea Lord. Sent Our battleships through the most mined stretch of water on the planet ?
My Grandfather landed in Gallipoli with The Royal Enniskillen.
I truly loathe his cronie Moutbatten, a man with no readeaming features.
A source close to him said "He was careless with other people's lives" His part in the Partition of India was a crime against humanity.
