I’ve actually been trying to get better at managing my spending lately, especially with how expensive everyday shopping has become. One thing that helped me a lot was slowing down before buying things online and checking whether there are better deals available first. I used to buy stuff immediately when I saw a sale banner, but most of the time I later realized I could have saved more if I compared prices properly.
Recently I started checking sites like Valuecom before placing orders, mostly for electronics and household items, and I’ve found a few useful discounts that saved me some money over time. Nothing life-changing, but small savings really add up when you shop regularly. I also stopped impulse buying and now I keep a simple monthly budget for non-essential purchases. It’s made a surprisingly big difference for me.

I’ve learned that one of the best ways to save money while shopping online is to avoid buying things immediately, even when the deal looks good. I usually wait a bit, compare prices on a few websites, and check if there are any coupon codes available first. A lot of stores quietly offer discounts that many people miss because they rush to checkout too fast.
Honestly i also love the chinese rates.Lately I’ve been checking PromoPro UK before placing orders, especially for fashion and tech items, and I’ve actually found some decent discounts there. Another trick that works for me is shopping during midweek sales because prices sometimes drop randomly compared to weekends. I also keep a small monthly shopping budget now, which helps me avoid unnecessary spending. Saving money honestly becomes easier once you build small habits like these instead of trying to make huge changes all at once.

Throughout this year, I have attempted to limit my expenses by various means. The most effective method in this case is making careful purchases. First of all, I make sure to compare prices between at least two or three different stores. Moreover, I do not pay until I find a discount code to apply to the checkout page. This is quite an insignificant step that is usually overlooked by many, but it makes a considerable difference over time. Apart from that, whenever possible, I try to use a combination of store discounts, cashback, and coupon codes. There is an interesting tip that has proved its efficiency in this regard. Namely, it is worth checking Valuecom prior to any order since I could find rather attractive promo offers, which resulted in additional savings compared to those initially estimated.

Saving money becomes easier when combine small daily habits, smarter spending, and a simple system. Here are practical ways i can share :
a. Use the 50/30/20 Rule. A simple budgeting method: 50% – Needs (rent, food, bills, transport) , 30% – Wants (shopping, entertainment). 20% – Savings or debt repayment. b. Pay Yourself First. As soon as i get money: Move 10–20% directly into savings. Treat savings like a non-negotiable bill. c. Track Every Expense.For 30 days, record everything i spend i’ll usually discover: Small daily purchases add up (coffee, snacks, apps). d. Reduce “Silent Expenses” These slowly drain money: Food delivery fees, Unused subscriptions, Frequent ride-hailing. Further tips may seek from Valuecom as many of my experience learned from it.

I got so used to saving to avoid being hungry that I saved 70% last year because my salary grew without lifestyle inflation. My problem is that with scarcity mindset, I can only buy asset classes when I try to spend. Anything else makes me feel like I was wasting money. It is tough. Amassed over $1.3m in 15 years of working. Not too shabby.

@CodewithhsarahAncient Chinese secret eh?
Sorry it’s a Calgon reference. Had to say it.
I like saving money when I shop, and I use coupons whenever I can because small discounts really add up over time. I’ve also used Valuecom a few times to find deals, and it honestly helped me save more than I expected. What I liked about this video is that it shares simple ideas that anyone can use, even if they don’t shop online all the time. Sometimes we forget how many tools we have available to save money, so tips like these are a good reminder. I’m definitely going to try a few of the suggestions mentioned here on my next purchase.
@CSROLDThanks brother
@pranaybabu2000This was such an eye-opening breakdown of practical saving habits. I really like how the video focused on discipline, small daily choices, and thinking long-term instead of chasing quick wins. The idea of being intentional with every purchase really hit home for me. I’ve started applying a similar mindset by planning my spending in advance and looking for better deals before buying anything. That’s actually how I came across PromoPro UK — it’s been a simple way to cut costs on things I was already planning to buy. Saving isn’t just about earning more, it’s about managing smarter, and this video explains that perfectly. Definitely a useful reminder that consistency is the real secret to building wealth over time.
@motivationcash8750My key to always make the most of your money is this moto:
“Why would I pay more for something I can pay less for?”
That just changed my life, I always have money income and solvency and even though I’m not rich yet, I live and look as one.
0:12 but isn’t China in Asia?
@TopnotchmvmThanks very useful tips
@mariamatthew6224I didn't learn anything from you because I'm Chinese. 😅😅😅
@streetkidizeIf you learn to declutter your house and live minimally then as you declutter you'll realize the pain of your spending
@MonywiseGuideI really liked this video because it explains saving money in a realistic way, not just “don’t spend anything.” One thing I’ve learned over time is that small habits make a big difference. For example, I never buy something online the moment I see it anymore. I usually wait a day or two, compare prices, and check if there are any discounts running. A lot of the time, I realise I don’t even need the item after waiting.
Another thing that’s helped me is checking deal and comparison sites before checking out. I recently came across Valuecom while doing that, and it helped me spot offers I wouldn’t have noticed just browsing stores directly. It’s not about buying more, it’s about buying smarter.
I also stack savings when possible, like free shipping plus a sale price, and avoid impulse buys late at night. Curious to know what habits other people here use to keep their shopping under control.
100 percent Chinese. 😂 Someone lied. Do a DNA test. You owe it to yourself
@richardt6980Kinesiske læresætninger fortjener virkelig respekt; de virker virkelig. Mange tak for den fantastiske video.
@sr.tomaz1Because. Hard made $ in china
@fisherbrown903When I made 60k a year, I managed to save 20k a year. Now I make 250k+ a year, my wealth grows around 150k last year(with a mortgage). There are tons of ways to save and grow your wealth. People just don't know how to or not willing to.
@Evolniar1Lookup leftover women...educated women who will not marry by choic in China.
@lilomarie7313I’ve been trying to cut down my monthly spending without going crazy, so I love watching tips like these. One small habit that helped me lately is checking a coupon or promo site before I check out—sometimes it’s literally a few dollars saved, but over time it adds up more than I expected. I recently tried Valuecom when shopping for electronics and household stuff, because they list a lot of current codes and deals across many stores. I don’t use it every single buy, but for bigger purchases or when I’m already in a store’s cart, it’s worth a quick check. Also, I keep a tiny list of the best times to buy specific categories, like groceries vs. gadgets, so I’m not pressured to buy right away. That mix of planning and a quick coupon check has noticeably reduced my spend without feeling annoying.
@DuyĐăngVũ-x9vUseful, thank you!
@dasfoneAgreed . I bought a louie vitton wallet around 6 years ago, I use it to this day absolutely zero regrets I also bought a burbery scarf around 9 years ago use every winter no regrets
@urbansurvivor360I have been watching similar videos for a while, and to be honest, I didn't help me save money, not only one trick, but rather the combination of small habits together. I always compare prices, wait a day before buying, and look for discount codes, even if you expect them not to exist. Many people skip the last step, but believe me, the difference is piling up over time. Recently, I started using Valuecom when I shop online, especially for everyday items and tech accessories, and I was surprised how many times I could find discount offers.
@shfa.1--2Honestly, saving money while shopping online has become a bit of a habit for me, not just something I do once in a while. What I’ve learned is that the biggest mistake is rushing a purchase. I used to click “buy now” straight away, but now I always pause and look for discounts first. A friend mentioned PromoPro UK to me a few months back, and since then I’ve actually managed to knock money off things I was already planning to buy, like clothes, household items, and even gifts.
What I like is checking codes before big sales, because sometimes you can stack a promo code on top of an already reduced price. I’ve also found that shopping late at night or midweek can bring better deals than weekends. It’s not about extreme couponing, just being a bit smarter. Over time, those small discounts really do add up, especially if you shop online regularly.

@getbesthere7433There is also another aspect: inheretance.
Chinese care about their family, their future generation VERY MUCH. They save all the money just so they can pass it down. They do not think, "oh, you are 18 now. Get out of my house." To them children is everything. They are their pride and joy. The good side is. Kid usually have money to get higher education. The downside is, the parents has no other hobby or their life goals. All they think of is how successful their kids get and then they can boast about it. This put younger generation in such heavy burden. Basically they are all helicopter moms and dads.
