I think you could probably have gotten away with playing a couple of high counts with a raised bet before you left the casino man. Just like a cheeky "Aah fuck it! one big one for the road" kind of thing. I think you could've sold that. Also maybe you could've covered the card thing with "OI MATE! YOU DROPPED THIS" and ran over in full view of everyone. Nobody thinks you nicked the card cause you're not being shady about it and EVERYONE saw you pass it to what obviously to everyone looked like the stranger that you'd seen at the table. I think you could've sold that man. It all worked out in the end anyway though so meh.
