How do we balance accessibility with depth without losing the very complexity that makes the Bible intellectually and spiritually challenging?

Indeed a story...or fairytale, if you prefer.about how you can come back to life. There is zero evidence we or our pets come back to life. Wishful thinking only. Amen

The problem here is that you are attributing quotes to Jesus which were not his actual words. The gospels were written decades later by unknown authors in the Greek language, not the Aramaic language Jesus spoke. Also, no one was taking down shorthand notes at the time, as he was not even considered a god in the early days.
