The BEST Protein Coffee Recipe | Healthy, Creamy + Delicious

Video Overview & Insights

Grab my Vanilla Protein Powder here!👇🏻

There are three teaspoons of sugar natural occurring in in whole milk, or skim milk. No thank you! You are ingesting sugar. If I use milk I’ll use unsweetened coconut milk. Unsweetened coconut milk contains 0 grams of sugar. For my protein coffee I avoid the dairy.

This is the protein coffee I've been OBSESSED with lately. I can't wait for you to try it!! Also quick note: Careful when testing the milk temp! I used my finger, but that's not always a good idea, especially if the milk is a lot hotter than you expected! You can also use a meat or candy thermometer to test the milk temp.

Stfu. If I have to hear about one more protein this or that.....

Coffee Grinder: https://amzn.to/47CzUvZ

Any tips for me? Iv been actively eating better for 3 weeks and have lost 1.8kg and I hope to keep this up.

I dont usually eat breakfast. My intermittent fasting is 8pm-10am. I have found that my protein coffee helps me get through till lunch time.

Is it bad to not eat till 12pm but break a fast at 10am? I cant seem to go without my morning ccoffee. I keep my coffee black if I want ine before 10am

I gained 10kg after I quit smoking (replace one bad habit for another, over eating and esting junk late at night)

Obviously im doing something right with change of diet because I have lost weight but im worried that might stop idk why

Coffee nerd here, unsolicited advice -PLEASE get a legit grinder for your espresso - even Baratza encore esp is solid and will give better results. Getting a good burr grinder vs blade is ideal since a blade grinder can’t get the same fineness and overall consistency. Also actually measure your coffee - 18g is pretty standard for a double shot. Your shot is under extracted which acts more like a French press than an actual espresso and you can pull WAY more flavor out of your beans with a better grind. It’s worth the investment and time to learn how to dial a good shot in. (Hopping off of my soap box now) Thanks for sharing! I’m going to give this a try ❤️

This is amazing.. I made it with plant based protein powder and almond milk as I have a severe allergy to dairy and it worked so well..looks like a new favourite. As I am always looking for protein options due to me having no dairy

Yes, order of operations matter, just ask the European Space Agency. Wait. That was metric vs imperial. Carry on!

Thank you so much for this hack. I've been wrestling with the fact that I found out I was having dessert to break my fast by drinking my coffee with a vanilla flavored creamer in the a.m. I now use about 4-5 oz of unflavored coconut milk the way you described and add one scoop of my protein which is 30 g. & pour into 10 oz of traditional strong organic coffee. This is delicious! Thank you so much!

Hi there! I did exactly what you did today and I added it to my coffee and it was great! However it cooled off a little and I noticed a sludge at the bottom. Do you have to drink it faster while it’s hot? Maybe when ot cooled down it separated?

This looks amazing, however, I work M-F and there's no way I would be functional enough in the morning (nor have time) to make this prior to actually drinking a cup of coffee. Would it work to make the milk & protein powder ahead and store it in a container in the fridge as my psuedo 'creamer' and then just mix it in with 3oz of really strong instant coffee?

@amydorr9381
@

I use a Nespresso machine and pods, milk frother, and vanilla protein powder. I froth the milk, then blend it with the protein powder and pour it into my coffee. For cold coffee, I skip the frother and simply drink it cold, adding ice to the blender sections if desired. I prefer this efficient and quick method.

I’m gonna try that but use chocolate protein powder mixed in with whole milk which of course’s is warm and also add my espresso and a scoop of collagen powder will be my café mocha and I think it would be good to have with your famous bowl of cottage chess peanut butter and warm blueberries yum Thanks for this Autumn

Okay, but you should weigh coffee beans instead of measuring. Some beans are remarkably heavier than others and/or take up less volume than others. One of my favorite coffees is heavy and has a small bean and it's about 60% of the volume of our regular go-to coffee!

If I used the same amount by volume (instead of weight), it would be much too strong. Shooting for around 16 grams (per serving) is right on though!

(Sorry, not trying to be THAT guy.)

Here's a great version for chocolate lovers… Strong coffee +1 Tbl vanilla protein powder, 1/2 Tbl collagen, 1/2 Tbl raw cacao powder, 1/2 Tbl organic date syrup, 1 Tbl organic half-and-half, 1/2 teaspoon LMT electrolyte chocolate salt. Absolutely amazing, better than anything at the coffee shops and keeps me going all day! 😊

If you have a machine like that, I don't understand why you heat the milk on the burner instead of heating it with the steamer meant for that, you just heat the milk till your desired tempt.and then mix the protein in the cup and froth it and then comes the coffee

@adrimc8748
