00:00 Intro
1:17 Making the marinade
Man I forgot the garlic lmao
2:34 Marinating the steak
4:00 Making avocado crema
This is the best taco recipe I’ve ever made. I’m going to make it a lot this summer. Thank you!
7:52 Making pico de gallo
11:05 Grilling the steak
Did Sam say "unnecessary fat" when making avocado crema? Is there such a thing as "unnecessary fat"? LOL I say full fat sour cream, but I could be wrong after years of hearing "Fat is Flavor". LOL
14:05 Cutting the carne asada
14:33 Trying the carne asada
The avocado blend is what makes the recipe good.
Instead of spreading the cream on the tortilla, Consider tossing the meat with the cream right before adding to the tortilla. Every bite needs to have it.
15:09 Prepping the tortilla
15:26 Building
braggs aminos! good oldie. thanks for bringing back your old vids.

I love this channel... but poor Max! Filming must take about 2 hours... then Max must have to spend 2 days editing out all the cursing. 😂 i love it.

I hate that! No fucking soy sauce, goddammit! Pico de Gallo with no lime or lemon juice, hallapenhos or tomato juices and no sour cream or comsume or even hot sauce? Most important, no cerveza? RECONQUISTA NOW, CANADIANS ARE RUNNING MEXICAN FOOD, CABRONES! AI CARAMBA! And stop fucking with the meat on the grill, leave it the fuck ALONE cooking just flip every 3 minutes or you'll overcook it like you did with all that flame fucking and no lemon juice to cool it down.

Taco al pastor is Turkish origin, so usually it just tells how receptive is Mexican cuisine to other cuisines in adaptation.

I really don't know if I want to go buy light brown sugar. I already have the dark brown. And white sugar. I'm just wondering how necessary it is for the recipe to have the light brown sugar? :)

Pro tip: if you hold the lime in the palm if your hand, turn the zester up, and run it across the lime, rather than moving the lime, all the Zest waters in the western, and you can more easily see where you are scraping, ensuring you get every bit of zest and no pith.

I tried this recipe last night, it was great!!!

We really just have one goal - to make your food life better. Ok that, and be entertained at the same time. And have you learn a few things along the way. So let’s make it 3 goals then.
It is hard to put into words how good it is absolutely amazing
If you only want the steps to make something, like those vids shot from above with no people, no conversation no nuthin - then we are absolutely not for you. But if you wanna a little fun while you learn, then this is the place.
Cooking doesn’t have to be hard, it just has to be delicious.
Also, never used this kind of cut of meet, I’m going to use it in my hash next time.

THANK YOU ❗️
I made this tonight, added a littler extra soy salt sugar lime and cilantro than the recipe, turned out pretty f’n gooood!
The whole combo was such a hit! I’m going to use that avocado mixture for my fajitas going forward! ❤️

Don’t listen to the soy sauce naysayers! Soy adds a nice umami to the steak; I always add a tablespoon to round out the flavor.
@davegarfield9007No garlic?
@Badmazza1Flap meat for the win. This marinade is as delicious as it is simple. For the haters: The #2 ingredient in Knorr Caldo de Pollo is MSG. CdP is the secret ingredient in many a killer salsa recipe. IJS.
@timothyhurley4037Damn !!! Can you talk anymore, what else could you possibly talk about. WOW!!!!!!!!!!
@michaelaguilar3192It's a California native prerequisite to know how to pick an avacado and order Mexican food. I'm seriously thinking of coming home just so I can eat !
@JenniferJaws5283Keeo the Canadian pronunciations going, Sam. Love it! Canadian Granny to 9 here! Elbows Up! ✌🏻❤️🇨🇦👊🏻
@Granny-to-9Corn tortilla would be perfect
@kevinmott9046What aboot the slut bomb? No cut?
@TravistheCraigJust made this tonight and WOW all the ingredients together was like magic in my mouth. the avocado crème sauce is amazing I will be adding it to all my tacos from now on❤
@rudy5688I agree with what max said about the well done people
@jpgiii85Okay, I want to do this recipe tomorrow, exactly the way you did it, other than using a grille to cook it. However I’m now on a quest to find “skirt steak” that you used here. Apparently “skirt steak” is harvested from slaughtered unicorns. So what type of steak is close to “skirt steak”?
Please give the address for the slaughtered unicorn meat market if you have it.
I prefer meat cooked medium well because I’m not a fan of chewing on beef-flavored bubble gum.
@MistressCobaltI’m not a fan of soy sauce, the flavor doesn’t do it for Me so I’ll just leave it out when I make this recipe next week.
They probably use a lot of soy sauce for their tacos in China so maybe they have “MADE IN CHINA” stamped onto their tortillas.
Anyone who tells you carne asada tacos on a flour tortilla is not your friend
@richardbriseno9892I don't believe you just double dipped that guacamole!!😢
@clivejackson9841It’s the best
@HagridThoughtsNo lime juice or zest for the puc
@laurencedewey2639Your a home cook , never salt meat in a marinade as it draws out the blood and never marinate will acidic lemons or limes overnight or 4 hours it will cook your meat jusg like ceviche, its called surface marinade maximum 1 hour of marinating max. Nothing worse than home cooks think their chefs and and give really bad advice to others
@acaciomadeira5147im sry, just made this and i will never put yogurt on a taco again :(
@fizizy6415And THAT is the last we shall see, of Sam, tonight!
@michaelsullivan3581Soy sauce is what I thought of because it is a great meat tenderizer. Oh I use olive oil myself. We all vary recipes to our taste.
@deborahhanlon2691Im looking to make really great tacos for my family
@ThelmaGriffin-r2lI know people who immigrated here who put Soy Sauce in their marinade, so that's good enough for me. I use orange juice and lime juice in man plus some red wine or balsamic vinegar. I'm kind of staying away from tortillas right now, but I will definitely do with the skirt on stop of the avocado and topped with pico. Carne Asada is all about grilling and having a good time with friends and family. The people obsessing over soy sauce need to chil
@SonicBoomC98You didn't cook the tortillas right and no tomatoes ... just onion and cilantro. SMH. You made gringo tacos.
@technician006As a Mexican, I want to try that marinade!! Looks 👌🏽
@MyTEEsharp1My neighbor is Mexican and he uses soy sauce
@barrywilson4190Does the burned cilantro cause any problems?
@josephpaul7280Mexicans use Maggi seasoning… it’s basically soy sauce!
