What a beautiful tutorial! THe ONLY guide u need for Sol!

Sol is the only champ i have ever felt really comfortable with if im honest.

Theres some issues yes, but I always play it VERY safe in my lane untill I get the ice staff and my R, then he really starts to shine.
Once you get him leveled up and geared up, I treat him as a nuke bomber. Let the group fight start and then just fly past and nuke the shit outa people.

With full gear and maxing your magic damage to max, your R can do 800+ damage alone.
Never underestimate the power of W for getting about the map and outa trouble.

Usually as long as I plan my attack out and dont pick a tanky guy, by the time they figure out whats going on, ive already flew past, dropped my nuke and flamed them to death or near enough for the team to finish off.
Lost count of the times I have just did a "banzai flight" that result in me dying, but by the time I die, the enemy is usually all paying attention to me and half health because of my damage or lower so the team can just finish the job.

Even if Q tapping has been slightly changed this guide is still very useful! You showed me that I should not be afraid in the early game when playing Aurelion Sol. I've been playing Asol for 3 months non-stop and this video helped me understand a lot of things. I used to pick E at the start, but Q provides much more as you successfully proved. Aggressive play provides more benefits than simply safe farming. There are still a lot of things I need to learn i.e. limits against a particular champs, CS still give me a slight problem (I need to learn when I can AA a minion to kill it).
This year I plan to start playing rankeds (I used to play only drafts but with my friend we decided that this year we have to reach gold at a minimum), we'll see how far we get.
I won't ramble on much longer, but you really helped me!

Man im actually kinda proud of myself, I picked up alot on certain aspects of Aurelion quite quick for being a new league player (albeit I did come from Smite, Smite doesnt have any god that plays like Sol at all.) The guide confirmed for me a lot of things I was doing that I didn't know if it was correct or not. For instance, picking E at the beginning of the match. I did that for a while before I realized it was just... really boring, and made me super passive, so taking Q felt way better because I could push the enemy off my lane really early on. I have really good E placement on waves, but I gotta remember to prep the minions first tho. I've also been canceling bad flights on my own instead of catapulting myself into certain death lol. Still gotta get better about actually placing the flight paths where Im safer from damage, but Im improving on that each game! Most of my ranks with him have been in the C+ to B rank range, and my level as of writing this is half way to competitive rank. Im loving him a ton though so I'm really looking forward to him being my main mid champ :D

Probably the fastes guide is telling: farm minions until 20-25 minutes and only hitting the enemy with q when its 100% gives stacks

After 25 min, don't stop stacking 😂, at one point you will oneshot a stacked cho

So after watching this video i worked on runes and changed up my first 3 levels and took your Q taps to heart. The FIRST GAME after this video. I went 27/4/11 although i am bronze. I felt the Immidiate effects of being much more aggressive in the early game.

I am hesitant to play this due to length frame but thanks to you I got a penta

Hey Sol! I’m not necessarily new to Asol but my games are very inconsistent. Some games I’ll be absolutely carrying with highest dmg and stuff, and other games my stats will look great but my dmg is low. I really want to get good with Asol because he’s my favorite champ and I basically one-trick him. Do you think you could help me out?
