An interesting video. Try speaking slower, at a consistent volume, and through your mouth (not your nose). Lots of rewinding to understand what you were saying, unless that was a watch-time trick.

The 30 Greatest Films of All Time.
OK, but where the hell is Metropolis?
0:00 Introduction
2:48 Number 30
30 boring movies to cure insomnia.
Imagine putting "Persona" or "my dinner with Andre" in a TV and actually watching this crap?

11:21 Number 28
Dumb & dumber?
15:32 Number 27
19:17 Number 26
Sorry man, but the Lord of the Rings is trash, and Godfather is okay, nothing to write home about. You've only made this list to elevate those two pointless pieces of nonsense, by adding a bunch of random critic darlings underneath them.
23:57 Number 25
27:45 Number 24
I'd love to see you make a full length lotr trilogy review.
32:23 Number 23

How about Terrance Malick? And god save us from three hours of the potato peeling of Chantel Akerman.
1:05:00 Number 15
1:08:58 Number 14
Not surprisingly, I don't agree with the ordering, but it's a highly respectable list with excellent rationale. Thanks - very enjoyable watch.

why can't people accept that this is his own personal list and you don't have to agree with it 🙃 loved the video btw! i love hearing different opinions
@chubybunny1509Thank you for this wonderful video. Having seen all the films on your list, I might agree with your choices on some days, the only difference for me is that number one will always be Sátántangó. After seeing it for the first time, it took me a while to want to watch something else, I couldn't imagine watching another film that would move me like this one. The problem I have is, I'm yet to meet another person face to face who's has seen it and I believe beauty is always enhanced when shared with another.
@NeontrifleThat lord of the rings pick is a complete miss, as much as you try to justify….
@maubeiroThis is the most pretentious video I have ever watched. The list should be titled 25 films that are almost unwatchable and Oldboy, Apocalypse Now, Return Of the King, Seven Samurai, and Barry Lyndon
@Grande79Saving this list
@KASUAL_MediaNo way he left out the Marvel universe
@pennzeThis is an amazing list!
I would only make some room for Amadeus
My diner with Andre is literally just a podcast
@jesseppadgett6312Can we stop with the hyperbole? This is a list of your favorite/the best by your metrics of the movies you have seen.
@milk_bathI dropped out after about 3 minutes.
Pretentious bs
Been hearing for years that Taxi Driver was a masterpiece…
Well, I finally got around to seeing it about 2 years ago.
And I was appalled by how idiotic I thought De Niro’s character was during the entire thing. Absolutely never before seen lunacy and stupidity…
Not at all a character that I empathized with in any way in his change of mind regarding society and his place in it like I’m sure, Scorsese intended…
What an horrible horrible horrible film !
I HATED it.
When, I usually LOVE those kinds of movies and have watched hundreds…
Anyways.
It feels like I’m the only man on earth to dislile this movie but I do so strongly, that I feel like sharing my frustration…
Lord of the rings ..fantasy for kids. Mullholand Dr. BS for snob adults.
@MarianopolisMarianopolis-yq8mogreat video, explaining the ideas and the ranking very well, but the ranking is terrible, two of the top 5 films are not even top 20
A single David Lynch movie, no Passolini, no Herzog, no Godard
la haine overrated
@termocremosoIf one day I do my list of best videos on YouTube on films list, this will be my #1
