Overall Florida is more dangerous than many other states but it’s not crazy. Florida ranks 21st in the country for total crime per capita. That accounts for the number of robberies, arsons, rapes, attacks, murders - all of it. There’s a lot of places in Florida where you can chill out without much of a worry but in many parts of this state, you gotta watch your back.
Florida! One of our fastest growing states of all. High crime in many areas certainly isn’t enough to deter people from flocking here in droves. Going back to 1960 you can see that crime wasn’t that bad at all. Then there was a huge spike in the 80s and 90s when crime here tripled. Today, crime has come back to 1960 levels again. So it’s less murderous here these days, which is good. However, in the cities we’re going to talk about, there are robberies in broad daylight, car jackings and daily shootings. There are neighborhoods in most of these cities that you shouldn’t drive through, and certainly should be avoided after dark.

@Ashlee-t7qCape Coral has a very high crime rate especially the south cape. Murders, rape, car jacking and prostitution. Fort Myers is next, then Lehigh acres, then San Carlos where child predators live. These should be on here. Lee County is the most dangerous county in Florida.

@josephszot5545Moved to Florida from Baltimore before covid in 2018 and I still haven’t seen a single place here that even compares to Baltimore. Even the criminals here are far more polite and civilized and respectful 😂
@CharliRayI grew up in Miami over 50 years ago. There were dangerous areas in Miami then but still saddens me that it’s the number 1 most dangerous place in FL now.

Been back two months, and seen a dude chased with a hammer. Seen a guy shoot into someone's house and a drive by the next week. And people drive like animals. Welcome to Daytona
@TimWaters-ex2jpGod Bless USA. I new to FloRIDa. Did I see police good friends with drug dealers? Do I feel that illegality is legal in FloRIDa. Do I notice drug dealers from other countries making babies here in FloRIDa & those babies smoke drugs making it hard for them to do school. FLOridA is sad woth crime and this is ok because FloRIDa police are friends with drug dealers. School education is a day care or a trip to get a visa for going to an American school. Sad but true? But these crime doers help with keeping black lives matter for PINK. God Bless USA
