I don't think Mattingly should have said that. All Harper said was they needed a bat and an arm, most teams looking to buy want that at a minimum. I could understand if Harper said they needed every arm and bat available to get or something exaggerated like that but...he didn't.

Also, Harper has been a bit of a prick his entire career and his social media doesn't exactly paint the picture of a smart guy. 100% on brand.

As a dodger fan I don’t even want skubal, it’ll be cool asf don’t get me wrong, but rather go for the cheaper option with Hunter Greene, don’t need to give up top prospects for him and have longer longevity with his contract

Great job with this show! I have been listening most everyday for a few years while doing house work or eating lunch. you both have deep baseball knowledge and present it entertainingly.
Anyway, Every once in a while Trevor says something that reminds me of a sunday afternoon about 11,12, or 13 years ago. Trevor we may have hung out for an hour or two at an Italian restaurant on Daniels Parkway in Ft. Myers Fl, near Hammond Stadium. You were with your lovely wife who was friends with the girl bartending. My girlfriend at the time also knew the bartender from her work at Chico's women's fashion company. I don't remember the name of the place but, it seemed like you were friends with the owner. The five of us had a very enjoyable afternoon although, at one point I think you challenged me if I played ball. You also had a happy grin the whole time like you were getting away with too much joy .
Well, it was a long time ago and my memory is hazy but, we may have had enjoyable couple of hours

Let it be known, I commented on an offseason edition of baseball today and compared the Tigers and Skubal to the Indians and CC in 08 and now here we are.

This will never happen, and as an O's fan in DC it kinda hurts to say this, but it would be cool for him to go to the Nats, and for the Nats to try and make a run. Skubal, Griffin, Early, Cavalli would be an interesting rotation to top off that Offense.
