Yesterday, I was on my way home when Eric called and invited me to a gathering after the worship. We talked while I was driving home. At the end of the call, I wasn’t sure how to wrap things up, so I awkwardly said, ‘Thanks for remembering me,’ which sounded strange. I should’ve said, ‘I really appreciate the invitation, but maybe next time.

I've been using an app called (Episoden) which is like a big platform for practice and improve speaking skill and the first day that I on that app i met a guy and we had small talk and when he talking about his favorite movie I missed some words that I couldn't catch it but I was nodding like I understand the whole conversation😂

When I was a kid , I hugged my aunt because I thought she was my mom.

Hello i am working a grocery store . A awkward situation happen with me when customer demand something and i don't understand their assent . Then i said them sorry i didn't catch it could you repeat please or can you show the photo of demanded product .

Once someone asked me out on a date after my workshift at a coffee shop, but I misunderstood and just made another cup of coffee that he had always ordered. He paid, smiled, went out without asking again and left the coffee outside. My colleague that understand English better told that it was awkward. And I'm still single 😅

OK, when I was in university. I went to buy lunch and I thought met a tourist at the restaurant. She asked me how to say “no pork” in local language. I misunderstood that she asked me like how to say “pork” then I told her I a local word without “no” 😅 and left. After that I thought about the situation and realized that she maybe asked how to say “no pork” 😭😭

I heard don't say sorry or I will be accused. Is that right?

In acwards situation I useully say, ok gentle men I have to go right now, we will talk in the detail later, it's very useful for both of us, take care, bye.

When I was a child, I was sitting behind my father on his scooter. We had gone to the petrol pump to fill the tank. Since the tank was below the seat, I had to get down. Once it is filled my father just drove off assuming that I got on to it, unfortunately I wasn't, he just drove off and I had to run behind him for a while to stop, all around us were laughing. Later, somehow I managed to get on!

Sometimes I don’t understand someone, especially when they speak too fast.

My awkward moment was when I hailed a taxi, and the driver asked me a question I didn't understand, to which I answered "yes." Oh no, it was terrible—my seat was getting hotter and hotter.

I had to endure it all the way to my hotel.

My embarrassed situación is when I am in an elevetor with another person and I don’t now what to say. The silence betwen us is uncomfortable, but I try to look to another place and wait for a moment. Sometimes I know the person and I talk about the weather.

the awkward situation i got yesterday is I bumped into a girl and she fell out and got injured, i was so embarrassed about that.

I have little education and l feel awkward when people who are well read talk about social matters or talk about best seller books they've read and l'm just there nodding my head and not contributing, or l'm just exclaiming and smiling.
