Sydney is located on Australia's southeastern coast in New South Wales. It is a vibrant metropolis built around one of the world's most spectacular harbours, famously lined by the iconic Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge. But beyond its world-famous landmarks, the city also boasts a stunning coastline, diverse neighbourhoods, and a thriving culinary scene. In this video, we share our top things to do in and around Sydney.

😴 WHERE TO STAY IN SYDNEY:

- Azzurro Boutique Hotel ($): https://www.booking.com/hotel/au/sydney-city-stay.en.html?aid=7936148&no_rooms=1&group_adults=2

There is great viewing from the platform of Circular Quay station, and the ships don't block the view. In fact pics of the ships from the back platform look amazing when you add people for scale.

— @SidneyCritic

- Botanik Apartment Hotel ($$ - where we stayed in Surry Hills): https://www.booking.com/hotel/au/botanik-apartment.en.html?aid=7936148&no_rooms=1&group_adults=2

- A By Adina Sydney ($$): https://www.booking.com/hotel/au/a-by-adina-sydney.en.html?aid=7936148&no_rooms=1&group_adults=2

Lived in Sydney for most of my life, without a doubt the best thing to do in this city is leave.

Good guide - especially the tip about the weather. Many visitors from North America and Europe think Australia is always hot. It is not in the southern part of the continent particularly in late autumn through to spring. Spring has very unpredictable weather as well. Summer to early Autumn is generally warm to hot, but Sydney often gets southerly winds late after a day of extreme heat. This can drop the temperature and usher in much milder weather even in Summer.

Murayama was blocked from apologizing for the Japanese military invasion of Korea by Liberal Democrats. Murayama was blocked from making a memorial for non Japanese victims of WW2 by Liberal Democrats. Many Liberal Democrats still do not approve of the Murayama Apology, or Kono Apology. Ishiba Shigeru 's Apology was not approved by the Liberal Democrat Cabinet. If Japan was going to apologize to each location the Japanese military invaded the Liberal Democrats would block the public release of the Apology.

Is flying a drone, of course with attention to do not disturb anyone, insurance for it and not to fly at the rushed places, no issue?

Unfortunately, If you are looking to have a ‘late night out’ drinking in bars/ or would like a meal at 2am, you will be dissappointed😂.
It’s not Lisbon, Barcelona or Berlin - its a sunrise/daytime city.

I would like to know what is the most convenient way for my son who don't have any credit cards to take the public transportation like trains or buses?BTW, he's 12 years old.😊

@SophieZhu-t6w

Note on ferry cost. Yes that is what a one way ferry costs but there are also cost caps of $19.30 a day (half on Fri, Sat and Sun) or $50 a week on one card. And that cap cover not just ferries, but trains and buses combined as well.

Just to clarify, Vivid Sydney doesn't just happen at Darling Harbour, in fact it's centred around Circular Quay, but happens all over the city
