What happened to the thing of consumer demand regardless of need or want inevitably rules the free market?

Reason for me bringing this up is that yeah these little inso weasels I will spend a whole lot of time and effort in convince other people with ungodly amounts of money and room temperature IQs to perpetuate this nonsense but won't there be a point where people will I've had enough and at a minimum revolts by going back to the old free market thing?

Just a question by somebody else you know two years of college and Jen xer that knows nothing about nothing according to most

This is just preparation for the end-time.
"He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name."— Revelation 13:16–17 (NKJV)

There’s only one true solution… we need to find Snake Plissken to retrieve the remote to the Sword of Democles and enter the satellite code to shut down the entire globe and start over.

the root of all evil in cars is the "connected features" craze. why would a car require internet at all

@uiopuiop3472

for transportation : use public transport and bleed the private sector for this.
for PC: use linux
for music, movie and series: long live pirate bay

Piracy is the only right way nowadays. The greedy will be greedy and the consequence of it is our own wallet drain. They want to squeeze all of us like that juice machine

@eugenarioshek70

Strip them off their stability!!! ON - OFF your subsriptions as soon as you stop using the Service and pile up the usage over month until you once shortly reactivate...

Example: Stop your streaming subscription now and list what shows you want to look over the next month until you acquired enough to watch for a whole month, then sign back in for just that short moment you need and opt-out directly after your done with them. Pay the monthly fee once and opt-out for the others to accumulate new shows.

Software companies are the worst. They created captive users and standards and THEN switched to subscriptions as an option and then totally. I own Autodesk perpetual licenses and I have been using the for four years. They can go to hell with their subscriptions.

Governments should really step in here, because regular folks working 9 to 5 just can't take on these huge companies. They don't have the time or money, and it's a shame our governments are so useless. What's even worse is that people aren't speaking up and just hoping things will magically change.

I will buy installation CD/USB and only pay for new version or major updates.
I will only subscribe to magazines which I can hold in my hands.

I would never use any cloud service, I don't want any of my stuff on anyone else's computers and I have all the video and audio I need on my 120 tb disk array so they can just shove it sideways.

You said it. Seems that subscriptions are a gateway into renting everything and owning nothing.

Boycott these companies ,its that easy BMW is struggling, as a company they suck they have always been quick to take advantage of loyal customers, pure corporate GREED

How about having to pay to be able to email? Google makes us pay for the use of our email if we don't keep our Google One up to date. I pay $2.99 a month for cloud storage because I've gone over the alloted "free space " allowed and I FAFO last month that if I don't pay, I lose the use of my email.

Itvalso sucks they are allowed to use the word "Buy" for something I can't resell. Like my ganes on Steam platform.

You used to be able to install software with the installer files that came with the software. Now they make you download a downloader that installs the files for you making you a user and not the software administrator. This is what allows the manufacture to remotely connect and restrict your access to your own software.

The government has really failed to protect people here. One-click subscription cancelling should be absolutely mandatory for all services, online or off.

Haven't paid for a subscription in years. Started with building a music library from buying digital and CDs if I can't buy digital, then movies as I started buying and ripping blurays and 4ks, then shows, also you can download YouTube vids at good quality pretty easily even on your phone.

There's always a price to pay for not choosing convenience, it's called effort (also storage costs), which many ppl are afraid of. But maybe now many will start to put effort in again to achieve something they want. I don't see the future being "locked", only for those that can't live outside convenience. If you want something not offered, you just gotta put in some effort, won't be any different in the future IMO, tho actually maybe even a little easier with future AI tools to help automate harder tasks.

Synthetic neurons, or living brain organoids, are "grown in the cloud" by cultivating lab-grown human brain cells on electrode arrays connected to internet-accessible hardware, often called "wetware computing." Companies like Cortical Labs and FinalSpark use these "mini-brains," maintained in, nutrient-rich, temperature-controlled, and life-support systems,, to perform computation. They are accessed remotely, allowing users to send electrical, stimulations, and receive, real-time, data via software interfaces. They selll subscriptions
