Strike Force Five Is And Always Will Be: Kimmel, Fallon, Meyers, Oliver and Colbert

Colbert got me through the last tRUMP presidency and I don't know how I am going to make it without his ability to turn devastating situations into humor. He makes me laugh out loud with relief that it's not the end of the world, when it certainly feels like it sometimes. He makes me believe that I can survive this too. I watch the News at 10pm. Then just when I feel like there's no way out of whatever the most recent nightmare is that the news anchors just reported in solemn and serious tones, I hear the Late Show theme song begin and I get almost instant relief because I know that Colbert is going to make it all seem more silly and absurd than deathly serious. Nothing about the situation changed but my outlook has. Sometimes I feel like just skipping the news altogether and getting my information from Colbert. He gives it to you straight yet allows you to see the humor in the absurdity of how ridiculous the whole tRUMP regime is. He doesn't change the situation but he allows me to relax and recharge. After the 2024 election results came in I couldn't even watch the news period for almost a month. And yet I could watch Colbert. And slowly, very slowly, my resistance to tyranny resurfaced and I found myself ready to take on the authoritarianism currently infesting American politics and stand up for myself and America en masse. If I want to feel better about politics I watch Colbert. If I want to know more about politics and pretty much everything else you can think of I watch John Oliver. Oliver does a deep dive into whatever he's talking about that week. Seth Myers is hilarious too and he is also 1 of my favorite late night hosts. Kimmel and Fallon are good but I don't watch them as often. It has a lot to do with the fact that they both are airing the same time as Colbert, and Colbert is going to win out every single time. I like Kimmel better than Fallon although Fallon is the winner when it comes to who's the cutest but I don't watch late night TV to see someone who is attractive. I watch it because it's the perfect combination of news and comedy that allows you to be informed but not overwhelmed by all the horrible, horrible things that are going on at any given time here in America and around the world. I'm going to miss you something awful Colbert. Whatever you choose to do next, I'll be there watching you. I'm a Colbert fan girl. Well actually I'm a fan granny. A fan great granny that is lol. I salute this Fabulous Five! Thanks for the years of free therapy you guys. Especially you, Steven Colbert. I couldn't have made it without you❣️

Admittedly I personally go to sleep around 8:00 or 9:00 I'll wake up for about 11:00 catch Stephen Colbert Saturday night live and a few other shows late night shows then go back to sleep about 3:00 when everything goes off and starts going into commercials... And I'll still be up before 5:00 in the morning every morning I don't know how I do it I set an alarm and I'll wake up 5 minutes before the alarm goes off
