Strait of Hormuz crisis: Iran vs. U.S. โ€“ Global oil at risk

Video Overview & Insights

The strategic Strait of Hormuz is at the center of escalating tensions between the United States and Iran, threatening global energy security. At its narrowest point, the strait is only 33 km wide, yet it handles 20% of the worldโ€™s oil, nearly half of Chinaโ€™s crude imports, and 90% of Qatarโ€™s liquefied natural gas exports to Asia.

I am an Indian individual. In my sincere opinion all key points( like Hormous, Panama, Suez cannal ect :- , in cluding Red Sea )for shipping or other mode of transport, to be taken over by UN, permanently. Since the wars may happen in the comming future also. In that case why should the entire world to suffer ?.
These keypoints must be operated and maintained by the UN according to the international standards.
Thank you all and may God bless.

Former Pentagon official and retired Navy captain Brent Sadler joins live from Washington to explain how U.S. Marines, air patrols, and strategic military options are being deployed to protect commercial shipping lanes. He also breaks down the risks of escalating conflict, Iranโ€™s military and economic strategy, and the potential global consequences of a blocked strait.

This video covers: U.S. military strategy, Iranโ€™s leverage on oil exports, impacts on Asia and Europe, and why allies like China, Japan, and South Korea are critical players in this unfolding crisis.

Marines to go on the ships and tankers to protect it from mines and drones? Will they throw grenades at it? This guy sounds like Maga DEI. And trying to overthrow a govt....when the US overthrew a democratic govt in Iran decades before?

Companies can't afford to oppose solar. And there's no better time to support solar with the shutting of this Iranian strait, since they won't be needing or getting 95-99% of the oil from their any longer by order of Iran.

Why mention China as seeing this as critical? The oil they get from theough of Strait of Hormuz is a tiny percentage of their overall energy mix. It is at best, an inconvenience for the Chinese, which is probably far ourweighed by the damage this is doing to the Western world order and US hegemony.

Stop with the blatant propaganda.
