I feel like the team should be penalized if not the driver. Its one thing to damage opponents car, but a completely different thing when that contact ends the opponents race entirely. Alpine was going to have their best weekend after China. Id be fuming, feel for the mechanics and engineers who worked hard.

The aero is not there yet because of all the rule changes and is going to cause more problems as the cars way to interpretation and place the power via the ECU but also what the driver wants or asks from the ECU from the car and can the tyres handle it as wear because the tyres are different as well this year. Too build battery reserve also is adding to braking and the out section of the corner and how much is the driver going to have available and the drivers interpretation of what he can do with it. I feel this has taken F1 down a poor road and this battery crap is not F1 and look at WRC this year how it has changed for the better.

to see the picture there of how easy it is for the racing bulls to crank the alpine at low speed, shows, there is actually something very wrong with the alpine. not sure the aero, or the chassis dynamics. how can it is would roll easily from simple bump? imagine what would happen at high speed this year to them from some unexpected moment. even if there is nobody touching their car. if it is so that easy to roll over. F1 cars , in fact ALL open wheel car is very resistant to body rolls. unless it was swerving sideways at high speed and then hit something on the ground in the way that start the roll. not from side bump by other car. glad im no more F1 audience. i still wish ferrari to win constructor this year.
